Welcome back! We missed you, and hope you are doing well. You don't owe an explanation to why you were absent - just know we appreciate the time and effort you put into creating such wonderful mods for our community.
any chance for an update for soulmates? it's my absolute favorite mod ever!
Will Dragon Riding be getting an update?
Has anything been updated?
is it possible to get a status update on the mods? I love these mods for my UDC
Hello! After the 1.22 patch, the Ballet mod is causing the game to fail to launch upon re-addition. I am certain it was this one because I've been testing mods one at a time :) I'm sure you're aware, hope it's an easy fix!
would it be possible to get a standalone mod of the gambling that is in regency romance? I love how it functions but there are some saves I don't want all of regency romance
for the song injector, you show a visual on how to add the music?
I was checking to see if maybe Jane worked on the new royalty pack - it would have been such a good fit! I hope Jane is okay, such a talented modder! I would love to see her mods interact with the new pack!!
Yes, me to! That would be so great <3
No info infortunately what is happening with you, dearest Jane. But I think You are ok and wait for updates.Thank you for all you do for the game - I love musical instruments most and ballet mode( sorry not so strong in English language)! It is a very big job i suppose so.
regency is currently not working
what mods are up to date? i miss having ur mods in my game, its been a while and i wasnt sure what still worked. especially your ballet ,dragons mod. And i was also wondering when your group dance mod comes out
Hi there! Do you think you'll have the chance to update Ask About Mood for the October 2025 patch? Thank you!
Thanks very much for all your incredible creations!
Great
the mod is working for me w/ a few last exceptions here and there. im playing w/ game version 1.115.
Are you mods compatible with the new update
I can tell you that I use the Regency Romance mod and a handful of their other mods almost every day even though it's outdated, but haven't had any major issues with any of them yet. I might get a last exception once in a while, but I haven't tested to see if it's actually regency romance.
Agreed about the instruments! Music is appearing in several places in my Simland! I have created a Sim of Archy Jay, the SnakeCharmer (see her on YouTube and here on Patreon) who in real life plays the bagpipes. My version plays your flute and is happy doing so, but if you ever think of creating bagpipes I'm sure she would be really happy!
Thank you for all your awesome instrument mods! However some mods need updating as they are buggy, but I'm sure you are aware. Thanks again!
Concerned about you; hope all is well.... We support you, no matter what.
Hello JaneSimsten, are you OK? I'm a little bit worried about you, is everything fine? It passed more than one month and there are no news from you (there was new DLS and updates, and, usually, you wrote about compatibility with your mods, but full March there are no new messages from you).
I was just wondering the exact same thing! I don't mind at all the lack of mod updates, but the silence makes me worried if everything is alright. Let's hope so! And Jane, if you're reading this, don't force yourself to give updates if you don't think you can, but know that your community appreciates you and hopes you are well <3
Would you consider expanding your Sims 4 gradual aging mod(https://www.curseforge.com/sims4/mods/gradual-aging/comments) that is a updated version of the old Sims 3 Mod with the purpose enhance The Sims 4 aging system with realistic factors, player interventions, and a detailed grading system tracking aging progression? Like Aging is an inevitable, multifaceted process influenced by both internal and external factors, each leaving its unique signature on our skin over time. Intrinsically, our skin undergoes natural changes as we age: the production of collagen and elastin declines, leading to thinner, drier skin that loses its youthful firmness and resilience. Genetics determine the baseline pace of these changes and the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, while hormonal shifts—such as the decline in estrogen during menopause—further reduce skin elasticity, particularly in sensitive areas like the face and breasts. Externally, environmental exposures accelerate these processes. Prolonged sun exposure, for instance, not only damages the collagen matrix but also creates free radicals that break down elastin fibers, resulting in premature wrinkles, age spots, and an increased risk of skin cancer. Lifestyle choices compound these effects: smoking reduces blood flow and introduces damaging free radicals; pollution induces oxidative stress; and factors like poor diet, dehydration, stress, and inadequate sleep further impair skin regeneration and structural integrity. This complex interplay is reflected in various clinical grading systems. The Glogau Wrinkle Scale, for example, provides a structured way to gauge facial aging—from the earliest fine lines to deep, static wrinkles—while scales like the Fabi-Bolton Chest & Breast Wrinkle Scale detail the progression of wrinkles in the décolletage. Similarly, the Ptosis Scale and Grading Abdominal Panniculus offer insights into sagging and laxity in the breasts and abdomen. Even specialized scales such as the Ludwig Scale for female hair thinning and the Norwood-Hamilton Scale for male pattern baldness add further nuance to our understanding of aging across different body areas. When considering wrinkle formation, it is important to distinguish between dynamic wrinkles, which arise from repetitive facial expressions (like the fine lines around the lips that can eventually deepen into static wrinkles), and static wrinkles, which develop from the cumulative loss of skin elasticity and the constant pull of gravity. For instance, while forehead lines or “worry lines” may initially appear only during facial movement, they can become permanent as the skin’s supportive structures degrade. Prevention strategies are equally multifaceted. Daily use of broad-spectrum sunscreen (SPF 30 or higher) is crucial even on cloudy days to mitigate UV damage. A balanced diet rich in antioxidants and proper hydration supports collagen production and overall skin health, while quitting smoking and managing stress can preserve circulation and reduce free radical damage. Regular exercise boosts circulation, aiding nutrient delivery and skin repair, and an appropriate skincare regimen—including moisturizers, retinoids, peptides, and exfoliation—can help slow the aging process and maintain skin integrity. In summary, aging skin is the result of both inevitable internal changes and modifiable external factors. By understanding these diverse mechanisms—from cellular senescence and hormonal decline to sun-induced collagen breakdown and lifestyle choices—we can tailor prevention and treatment strategies to maintain healthier, more youthful skin across all stages of life.
bro what?
Are you mods compatible with the newest update
I've had no issues with any of the mods with the new update! :)
Are your mods compatible with the latest update
It really want to play this pretty mod but it just doesn't work for me 🥹 I did everything in the instructions and when I design a sim it shows the regency trait however nothing else is showing up and I don't know how to enter the mod world ... I also didn't get a confirmation that the mod is working. Is there anyone who can help me please ? 🥲💓
Alot of the interactions are found by clicking the mailbox. There should be a Regency option that you can click on.
Awesome work 🔥
THANK YOU! I appreciate all your hard work. You are awesome.
Thank you Jane!! I was wondering if you were planning on updating your instruments (and other objects) to make them heirloom compatible for those who own Life & Death. I dream that my sims can pass on their instruments to their descendants! :D
Hi may i ask the one only with update and reupdate work or does the other work too? i am a bit confused greetings from Switzerland and you are doinging a great Job thanks so much :)
Hi Jane! I keep getting this error when playing with this mod: Error during initialization of service finalize_tuning_service. This will likely cause additional errors in the future. (AttributeError: 'TuningAttrCleanupHelper' object attribute 'register_for_cleanup' is read-only)
Does anyone have a problem with the mod not working properly? Some of the options are not visible in the game for example the only aspirations I have are Truly Accomplished and Reformed Rake. Tried updating xml injector but nothing changed.
i can't get mods to work too.
Hi Jane, I am trying to find the playable harp? What is it under?
Hi JS love your work! Is the ballet mod updated for the latest patch?
Thank you so much for all your work Jane. I admire you xoxo
Thank you so much for sharing your creativity and talent!
Your account is a true gem! Thanks to you ♥
hello, i tried to install the mod but i failed please someone help me... I want to play a lot...
for the .tscript file make sure you put it not more than 1 folder deep else it wont work
thank you for all the work you do!
Hey lovely, thanks for all your work! You do an awesome job. Just so you're aware, with the recent sims update your ballet mod has had just a small bug I've noticed. Anytime a sim goes to work for the ballet career, their hair glitches while in the ballet clothes. For example, my sim's hair is red, blonde and brown all in one when it's usually just brown. Much love!
Hello there first thank for your hard work ! I really enjoyed the the regency mod however I have some problem with the latest version. The game detected the mod but a lot of activities aren't avaiblable: regency pie menu on sims, on the mailbox, no more scandal etc etc... I tried every solutions available to me but I humbly ask for your help if possible
Hi Audrey, I just want to confirm, do you have the latest version of the XML Injector installed too?
With the 5 day a week mod is there a way you can add in like for careers we pick certain days to work and how many hours instead of Monday - Friday and Wednesday through Sunday it goes by per day and per hour? like freelance hours.
I'm sorry to bring this up, but when sims goes to the territory or works in the House of Lords, they can still talk or interact with sims who are not working. In BetterExceptions, the report shows that there is an invalid file in the Careers folder, and if I don't add your quill to cover the mod, I can't use it in Regency Romance mod.
The sims are writing with a modern pen instead with the quill.
Whenever I ask the Governess to teach my sim something they just freeze and T-pose and nothing happens :(
Are your mods compatible with 1.104.58.1030?
Yes! :)
Hey, I'm a big fan of yours from China. Working as a translator and can provide quality translations for your mod. And I would like to help you publicize your mod in China, now there is a problem that domestic fans can't log in patreon, I wonder if I can provide a download link like SFS, wetransfer or curseforge. We really love your module and look forward to hearing from you.
Thanks, Jane! Love your work. My Sims, however, in the Archery Skill can't use the medium and long range target, regardless of their level of skill. Any ideas why...?
Hi! Thank you so much for checking in! I think this may be a bug. Are they getting the routing error thought bubble when it happens? I'm investigating a fix for this this week, and I'm so sorry it's taken so long for me to get to this. :(
I really love and apretiate your work, you are so amazing and have a lot talent
Dear Jane, hello! Please tell me if it is possible to add a sitting comb function to the mod - Functional Hairbrushes,so that the mod character can sit at the cosmetic table and comb her hair. That would be just great, don't you think?
And carriages, it would be great to ride in carriages)) Maybe it will be possible to do this in the future, what do you think?
Jane, now that we have horses, maybe you can add a riding animation for women of the regency period
