Mod: Violin/Piano Duets
Updated 3/3/24 for compatibility with the current patch.
Sul-sul! I'm back with another music related mod, which adds Violin/Piano duets to the game. Once your Sims reach level 5 or higher on Violin or Piano, they will be able to choose one of 5 duets to play.
Once you choose a song, you'll be prompted to choose an instrument and your duet partner. A few quirks: your violin must not be in the Sim's inventory to access the Play Duet interaction, and your Sim must not be sitting at the piano for it to appear.
Note: This mod requires the XML Injector. If you do not already have a copy in your game, you can download it here.

This is one of my favourite mods, and I know you've been on a break, but if you could make a mod for say piano/singing that would be awesome. Not sure if its doable, but if anyone could make it work it would be you

Hey! Sorry to bother, but I was wondering if you could make something similar for piano/singing? I made my sim be good at singing and her husband a pianist and I just think it would be so cute for them to be an opera duet... Anyways thankk you for this awesome mod!

this would be perfect if both the violinist and the pianist got fame from it
I know this is an old post but would you ever consider making it for guitars so sims can start a band since that still doesn't seem to be a possibility in the game many years later.
Yeah, something is missing in the base game are the bands as the sims 3 :( I really loved that feature with the bass and drums, with different styles of music

Love This! Been wanting something like this for a while where sims can play instruments synchronized :) This makes me wonder if duets can happen where one sim is playing the piano and the other is singing! That would awesome too. Thank you so much for this!
