Mod: Blacksmithing Skill

If you have the Businesses & Hobbies pack, would you be able to sell the crafted items at a small business, or is that not possible with this mod?

"Update 2/14/2026: Fixed for compatibility with Royalty/Legacy pack!" does this mean that the swords from the royalty and legacy pack can be crafted with this mod?

Hello! I'm not sure if you know (and if you do, my apologies, feel free to ignore this post entirely!), but the pie menu for the blacksmithing mod is not showing up after the 3/18 update. The only option that comes up when clicking on the blacksmith station is "Fiddle Around". The items show up in build/buy, there's just no option to make them individually. Other than that, everything else appears to be working fine - including mining and the animations!

I'd love to be able to forge blades (this skill) and craft hilts (Gemology skill) and combine them into bejewelled swords. Even better if they could be charged on the Crystal Grid for combat/environmental bonuses. Maybe throw in Handiness/woodworking too and craft polearms like battle axes or halberds.

Would love it if the craftable swords from your mod were usable for the new swordfighting skill somewhere down the line (they're absolutely gorgeous after all). And maybe being able to craft the swords that came with the new EP as well. Thank you for all you do! ❤️❤️❤️

I'm using this mod and Littlbowbub's Hunting & Foraging mod, and my sim keeps coming back from the mining rabbithole interaction of that mod with some of the craftables from this mod (an axe, a mace, a jeweled sword, etc). I wonder if they might have some kind of tag attached to them causing them to be selected as possible loot from that? (like are they tagged as crystals or metals in the game? or cloned from one?) I tried to unmerge the objects file myself and check, but I don't really know what I'm looking for. It's not a terrible problem, but I thought you might want to know about it since I can imagine a lot of folks want to use both mods.

So I've been using your mod a lot, but ive run into multiple issues, namely I cant use the "fiddling aound" for the blacksmith station, I had to buy the books to even begin to be able to use it, and the mining rock doesn't work at all! I'm not sure what I should do, but I wanted to bring this to your attention and to see if anyone else is running into the same problems!

Hi there! I absolutely adore this mod, I have a dwarven couple that have crafted a whole armoury for all the nobility in my Sims game, it's especially amazing to have a sword with the name of the one who blacksmithed it. I'm having a bit of an issue though. On one of my lots which has a large armoury I am now encountering infinite load times. This seems to have only started now after installing the marksmanship mod and the blacksmithing mod in tandem.

Question is it possible to add empty candle holders?

I love this update, been playing with it using my blacksmith family. It reminds me of the blacksmith role in Sims 4 medieval. With that being said would it be possible to add the option to craft some of your other items, like the harp, lute, archery stand and harpicord. 💜
