Flying Buttress

Just thought I'd share this little 'behind-the-scenes' clip thingy; editing the upcoming episode. No particular reason. Certainly not a 'blink-and-you'll-miss-it' visual gag involving tiny testicles, that's for sure. I mAkE aRt!?

I appreciate that many folks out there enjoy my channel primarily BECAUSE I don't tend to express opinions but I'm curious to find out whether you guys think I should maybe put this out (or not) as an actual video? If so, it will probably go out tomorrow; ironically as a low effort 'B-Roll footage o

Hi folks, Still on a break, believe it or not. But I had a moment (today) to try a re-record. Did a few tweaks here n' there to the script itself but mainly I just wanted to try and give it a bit more enthusiasm from the get-go as pointed out by Mahotsukai (and further reinforced by Vísionary / @ Bi

Howdy doody, As is tradition, audio recording for the next episode is now complete. And free... but not to be scraped by Ne'er-Do-Wells. P*ss Off, Ne'er-Do-Wells. This one MIGHT take a little while to edit. It really depends whether I can figure out the aerial combat stuff and do a good job of the w

Here's the next one. Took a few attempts cos I'm trying out audio tweaks but it probably wasn't the best episode to run tests with because most of the character's dialogue kinda required yelling; otherwise they would've sounded like they were all shouting in lower case. I would really appreciate som

Hey folks, Now that BlizzCon has ended; I can reappear and just carry on doing what I was doing anyway. lol. Here's the audio for the next one, free for ALL to listen to. At the risk of making the SuperCut for this series the most inconsistent thing I've ever done - I'm testing audio stuff this time

Hey folks, Here's the audio for the next one. Another slightly silly episode (to be fair the most absurd thing that happens is actually just straight out of the book itself rather than anything I added). I don't wanna jinx it but I feel like things are going quite well at the moment. The jokes are l

Hey peeps, New episode audio now available. It's funny cos there's a few people out there (that have presumably never listened to an audiobook before in their life) that get really weird about me voicing the lady characters. So this episode is dedicated to them! I wish I was as good as Jeff Hays at

Hi folks, Audio now recorded. I wrote the script several days ago but have only just had a chance to actually record the damn thing. I STILL kinda need full privacy in order to record as I get very self-conscious doing it which sometimes limits when I can get that part of the process done, unfortuna

Hi folks, Here's the audio for the next one. Hope you enjoy. It was fun to record despite the loud, beeping truck that interrupts me partway through. That's just another one of those 'first-world problems' that you often have to deal with when creating stuff. It's either that or the bloke on his rid

Hey folks, So... video is finally complete. Not my best work, I'm afraid. Unfortunately the hot weather, among other things, appears to have given me a case of 'the yips'. However, the chapter itself is a good one (imo) so hopefully the subject matter does a lot of the heavy-lifting (and deserves AL

Hey folks, Here's the audio for the next one, free to access for everybody. Dunno what to call this one. Scourge of Suramar, maybe? That Time The Scourge Existed 10,000 Years Ago? Believe it or not; this new approach is actually working. It will probably take several videos to fix the metadata issue

Hi folks, EARLY ACCESS TO THE NEXT EPISODE IS HERE: https://youtu.be/0cIdPDORyww Nearly ALL of the tones & genres! Its got grimdark! It's got horror! Its got Action! OF COURSE Its got Comedy! Its got Drama! Pinch of romance; not a lot but WHO CARES! My favourite episodes are always the ones where th

Hey all, Quick update: As you can see in the image; next episode is nearly complete. It should (HOPEFULLY) be ready mid-next-week if all goes to plan. Maybe sooner. Maybe later. Still a few more visuals to animate + I need to add the music + do the colour grading in Premier + I still need to make a

Hey folks, Next episode is now available for Early Access to paid members over the next few days (before going 'public' either Monday or Tuesday for everybody else). Also, just so people don't think I've lost my damned mind - You may see the odd title or thumbnail change for videos, here and there.

Hi folks, Here's the full recording for Demon Soul Episode 10, free for all to access. Just a heads up - Real life stuff is probably gonna get in the way a little bit this month so I'm not going to be able to get quite as many videos out in June as I did in May. I MIGHT get 2 out but not 3. Cheers m

Hey folks, Early Access to the next episode is now available (for Paid Members). Another banger of a video, I might add. Imo. Obviously that's subjective. And a bit arrogant of me to say. I just think I'm on a bit of a roll in terms of humour at the moment. That's all. There are MUCH better animator

Hi folks, Quick update for you. Still working on the next episode. I decided to give Hakkar a bit of a redesign (see image) for this episode. No longer gonna worry about continuity getting in the way of making characters look much better than they did previously. Even Hearthstone depicts him looking

Alright mates. Here's the full audio for the next episode! As is tradition... this post is free to access for everybody as well... At the risk of sounding like I'm starting to sniff my own farts a lot recently... I am really enjoying this series. The story itself. Making the videos. Being more creat

Hello there, I don't know if its just recency bias or what but... I do actually feel like this might be THE best episode / video I've made... EVER. By a significant margin as well! Funnily enough... some of my personal favourites have been videos that I've done on OTHER people's channels (for exampl

Hello. Howdy doody? Managed to write the script and record today so... here's the narration for the next episode (in its entirety). The thing is... I'm actually a little bit excited to get this one edited, finished and out there because I think it's a real good one. And you know what that means! ...

Hey folks, Apologies for this next episode taking a little bit longer than previously expected. It's quite a big one so... defo underestimated just how much time it was going to take to edit. Even after nearly a decade of doing this; I still find calculating ETAs difficult for some reason. If you're

Hi folks, Just so you know - Script is now complete for next episode. So that's the stage I'm currently at. As Krasus says at the end there - 'Now the hard part begins'. Now I have to just animate the bloody thing. At a leisurely pace; that'll probably take a couple o' weeks, give or take. Obviously

Hello. Figured I'd share this today rather than wait til tomorrow (certainly don't want anyone to think that this is just a really mean-spirited April Fools or something). Though I appreciate, in some time zones, it is actually already the early hours of April 1st. But I can assure you... this is a

Alright mates. How's it going? It is officially Midnight release day! Yes - the vast bulk of us have been playing since Friday but still - Today is officially the day! As a person that straight up avoids as much of the datamining, articles and beta as I can (because I find I get a lot more out of wo

Alright? How's it going? Here's the next batch of stuff. Middle is the hardest part to write to be fair. Short stories / Novellas tend to just skip the middle and go straight from Act 1 into Act 3. This is also why most stories out there feel like they meander a little bit in the middle. Usually inv

Hey folks, Hope you all had a nice xmas / new year. I know today is a little bit depressing for a lot of peeps due to being back to Business As Usual now. Saying that - Most jobs I've ever had; I would get Christmas Day and Boxing Day off and that was about it. I think it's basically just school kid

Hi folks, Here's some more stuff. See last months post for relevant disclaimers. lol. It's not actually my intention to upset or offend; Tis my intention to amuse. I might be failing at that miserably but still. It's the thought that counts, right? Also - I feel like I can stop being superstitious a

Hi folks, Here's the next lot of stuff. I feel like I need to write a bit of a disclaimer lol. This is supposed to be an Absurdist Fantasy Satire thing (the true meaning of the word 'Satire' - not like when Redditors just throw that word around as if it means nothing). And it's also messy af current

Hi folks, Firstly - I've pivoted away and shelved the previous thing I was writing. I've reworked some scenes and ideas from it though. I'm now writing some kind of Absurdist Fantasy / Horror thing using some other ideas I had during the 'discovery phase'. ['Discovery Phase' being where you just sit

Hi folks, I was going to wait til Monday to announce this but I think I'm better off just 'ripping the band-aid off' so to speak... Unfortunately I received a (Section 21) No-Fault Eviction Notice from my landlady yesterday evening. Basically she's lost her job due to the change in Foreign Aid Polic

So... as is tradition, I just immediately worked on the next thing instead of taking a break. In my defence, I wanted to see how writing a script felt. If I had felt nothing but indolence and dread; It would have been insightful. At the very least it would have confirmed my need for time away from c

Hi folks, In an effort to improve available revenue streams; I submitted an application to YouTube for Memberships. That has been accepted. So now I just need to launch that... There's just the one tier to start with. Tis £4.99 and it includes the perks shown in this video. (Some default loyalty bad

Hi peeps Quick post to let you all know that I've pretty much put all the visuals into the next episode. Just gotta capture a bit more 'filler' footage for a visual gag and then animate characters and do text boxes and captions and stuff Just the introductory story stuff (up to the portal to Bastion

Hi folks, I've recorded all the necessary in-game footage and subsequently realised I don't like the episode 10 script. lol The Vol'dun bit is slightly incorrect anyway - just a small detail of Vorrik being the one with 2 keystones rather than Korthek. But I think I need to rewrite the episode in fu

Hi peeps, Just a text post today but I will attach the unfinished script (.txt file because I'm a weirdo that writes them in Notepad) for the next episode just as a gift or something. It's only about halfway done though. I'll finish it either Thursday or Friday and hopefully get the audio recorded s

Hi folks, I've been doing lists recently. It really helps when you suffer from grasshopper brain and start to get a bit overwhelmed with larger projects. So yeah - I highly recommend To-Do Lists. Especially if you're a bit on the ADHD / Autistic side. But anyway: I've got about 5 specific bits / bac

*Screams like a maniac* Hi. As you can see; there's been some progress lol. However today has been very annoying. Firstly - I'm fighting off a bug that's going around. A particularly nasty one but I think I'm winning. I feel a bit poo but I know other people that have it and they all feel 'a lot poo

Hey folks, Started editing the video on Friday. Doing as much as I can everyday until I start to lose the will to live. I may have bitten off more than I can chew! For anyone that doesn't really understand what the attached image is supposed to be - Tis a screenshot of the entire video timeline in m

Hey folks, how's it going? Trying to keep you all posted here so... the first video is now scripted. I've been writing for two days and decided to time the stuff I'd got so far because it's... a lot of words. And it's at least 40 minutes. It's everything up to the end of the Kun-Lai Summit / Temple

Hi folks, I've been thinking this for a while but I wanted to get your thoughts first... Releasing the videos chapter-by-chapter is pretty much just ensuring the algorithm buries my channel. lol. I still don't really understand the ins-and-outs of how it all works but the algorithm looks at a number

Hi folks, Apologies but the Episode 4 video is gonna be a little bit delayed. I'm not sure when it'll be done. Unfortunately I've got this nasty cold that's going round. And although I can work through a cold cos I'm a grownup and stuff - I basically can't record the audio because I sound disgusting
