Update

Hey folks,

Apologies for this next episode taking a little bit longer than previously expected. It's quite a big one so... defo underestimated just how much time it was going to take to edit. Even after nearly a decade of doing this; I still find calculating ETAs difficult for some reason.

If you're wondering what the hell you're looking at in the image by the way - that is what editing actually looks like. That's why an awful lot of content creators have a bit of a love/hate relationship with their own videos too!. By the time I've finished making one - It's pretty much dead to me lol.

Tis an image of the overall timeline of the video and each of those blocks are either a character, some background art, added text, images, layers, props, etc. It's not even as completed as it looks just yet - the big chunk of blocks from minutes 4 to 10 are the scene with the dragons / dragon soul but I still need to record additional characters and do different 'camera angles' and stuff just to make that scene more visually interesting (we live in a post-brain-rot world). Plus I still need to do all of the speech bubbles.

AND ON TOP OF ALL OF THAT I also need to do the colour grading stuff in Adobe Premiere and add the music as well. Probably goes some way to explaining why I burned out and crashed out when I was releasing these buggers weekly. But it's an outlet for creative expression AND it seems to resonate with a few lovely people like yourselves, too, which makes it all worthwhile in the end.
