Bob the Poppop

Happy to finally get to this one, loooooong requested. It was nice to have Travis in the ears again. This is one of those albums that makes me wish I could smoke while listening. Enjoy that weekend, friends. Happy Halloween! Direct Play Link: https://iframe.mediadelivery.net/play/27377/c43d0054-5f8c

Video is uploading now, should be ready somewhat soon. Enjoy!

I thought I had put this into the video with all the singles, but apparently not. That was the intention. I must've forgotten to tack it on after dropping all the tracks into the video editor. Either way, here's 'Closing Thoughts' for the singles playlist

Sorry it took so long to get this ready. It took a bit longer than I thought it would once I got started on it. Happy to get it done though, and really happy with the songs that were selected. I mentioned last week doing a reaction to some singles that had been curated for me. I'm gonna chip away at those this weekend. My plan is to record them one at a time (more or less), but post them all in one video for Patreon. Basically, not gonna rush it. It's about 60 minutes of music, but I wann

Kinda quick and dirty this morning with another Yeat reaction. This is a mixtape of songs that have been leaked through the years, now officially released onto streaming platforms. Short runtime for the video just because the album is on the shorter side and there's not a whole lot to dig into regar

Video is uploading now, should be ready fairly quick since it's a shorter record length. Enjoy!

This was kinda tough. Hopefully I didn't ruin the reaction with the coughing and what not. I feel like I did okay with muting the mic, but I also feel like I was missing a lot of song intros as I hacked my way through opening sections. I didn't realize talking with cause such commotion with my lungs

Video is uploading now, should be ready fairly soon Enjoy!

Three weeks in a row now... unprecedented. I'm feeling much better coming off of my sickness, however, I'm still blowing my nose and hacking up lung garbage constantly. Enough that the idea of trying to sit and record for 2 hours sounds annoying as I'll constantly have my session interrupted with th

I'm glad I kept it simple for this weekend, because I'm still feeling whooped over this damn cold I've got. But I'm also glad I took the time to check out this new release by Ovrkast. Been seeing good things online, and it's definitely living up to the praise. Enjoy 🍻 Direct Play Link: https://ifra

Y'all, I have been SICK this week. Sick, sick. I missed work Monday/Tuesday and worked partial hours Wednesday/Thursday only to make sure certain things got done. Today, I finally feel like I just have a 'normal' cold compared to whatever the hell I got hit with (I'm assuming from Aftershock - which

I dove into this one pretty hard today, no particular reason as to why. Hopefully I wasn't too obnoxious about it. Hell of an album. A beautiful mess. Enjoy 🍻 Direct Play Link: https://iframe.mediadelivery.net/play/27377/9d318c36-84d7-4956-9793-bde7a597a063

I'm going to the Aftershock music festival today, so no recording will happen. I'm planning on listening to the 10th anniversary release of The Divine Feminine by Mac Miller tomorrow, but I'm also getting lots of pings about the new Quadeca album that released. I also have a playlist of singles that

What a cool, chilled-out EP this turned out to be. Happy this one got mentioned to me. My wife enjoyed it on first listen too, played it for her right after I finished recording. Good shit 🤘 Enjoy that weekend, y'all 🍻 Direct Play Link: https://iframe.mediadelivery.net/play/27377/4a07ca74-f444-4dd

Hitting an underground new release this Sunday morning, been hearing lots of buzz about it. I'd like to check out their other album "Unmusique" someday as well, given what I've heard about that one. DOOM. Again (and finally). This is another album that is often requested from his catalog, long standing on my list of items to sit down with. Happy to sit down with it today. I gotta say, that title track is a goddamn certified banger. Already been spam listening to it this morning. More stuff comi

Finally getting to more DOOM. Do it , DOOM. Get your machine. Video uploading now

I didn't do timestamps on this one. It's a situation that's unusual for how I normally do things. First, most of the songs are pretty short. I also listened in chunks of 3 or so at a time, then went back and reviewed lyrics. So it comes through in blocks of listening and talking. Long video. Lots to

Video will be ready somewhat soon, got a late start on the MP3 side of things Enjoy!

Wanted to check out Don Toliver's debut after hearing JACKBOYS, so here we are. I'm planning on doing more reactions this weekend since we're home, so expect some underground stuff tomorrow or Sunday (or maybe both) Enjoy that weekend, friends 🍻 Don Toliver - Heaven or Hell_Opt.mp4 (bunny.net)

Gonna put this one in the "classic" column for albums. I'm surprised this album hasn't be mentioned to me more often, honestly. Lots of elements for me to enjoy on this one. Glad I finally got to it! 2002 counts as a classic, right? Especially if it's Pharrell? Feels like it. Either way, settled on a classic today, and glad I did. Lots of fun to listen to. Fun tidbit about Lapdance: I just played it for my wife because I felt like I'd heard it somewhere before, and she immediately said it was ju

After a little digging and a little reaching, I did find a bit of a story flowing through the middle of this album. There are elements to pay attention to in the lyrics, so it made this album a lot of fun for me. Hard to go wrong with these to. Enjoy that Friday, friends 🍻 Direct Play Link: https:/

I have some things tying up my morning today, so I can't start recording until around lunch. Because of that delayed start, I'm going to sit with a shorter album (Boldy James and Alchemist's "Tecmo Super Bo"). We're home this weekend, so I'll do another reaction on Satuday (probably the new Kenny Be

Doing my best to keep some classics in the weekly rotation. This is one I've been putting off for awhile only because of the run time, but I'm glad I sat down with it today. I can see why this album gets so much praise. Big Pun brings the heat, for sure. Do enjoy that weekend, my friends 🍻 Direct P

Well friends, got myself a little nap in and woke up feeling quite satisfied with the weekend, so I'm gonna close up shop for the day. It's been a lot of fun this weekend diving into so many different projects. Hopefully it was a little something for everyone. I know many more titles exist, but this

Kicking off Sunday with this one, though I think I'm gonna go a little slower today than I did on Friday/Saturday. Just putting JACKBOYS since it feels a little weird to say by Travis Scott given it's more of a group effort. Video is processing now, should be ready pretty soon.

I think I said neat about 39 times while listening to this album (give or take). Good times.
