Reacting to "Capital Punishment" by Big Pun
Doing my best to keep some classics in the weekly rotation. This is one I've been putting off for awhile only because of the run time, but I'm glad I sat down with it today. I can see why this album gets so much praise. Big Pun brings the heat, for sure.

Bob I was just listening to the liquid swords reaction video and you said you wish rap would borrow more from rock. Listen to onyx & biohazard - judgment night , watch the clip as well, is 10/10. And the song doesn't belong on any album so you're safe. I would love you see you react to some old school Onyx. You'd love what they do with their voices.
Id say do Big L but L is a bit more intense and says some more fucked up shit than Pun so keep that in mind.
I dunno, Big L can say wild stuff but he's also so clearly joking for the most parts it doesn't really sound as bad imo.
You should definitely review open mike eagles album DOOMED! with Kenny segal who works with Billy woods alot. It's perfect heady rap music very much in line with what you like from rap at the moment.

pls dont get skip some of the skits ever again, I get skipping the sex ones but skits are like the staple and iconic for so many iconic hip hop albums from the 90s, many of the skits give context to songs, or humanize the artist more
