Full disclosure: I injured my eye at (real) work this past Thursday…I got something in my eye and scratched my cornea while changing an overhead air conditioner filter. And yes, I was wearing PPE. A subsequent infection landed me in the ER (that’s an A&E or ED for you euro-speaking folks) late last

**Update** Well, that only took three and half days to fix. If I had any other options, I would have ditched this ISP years ago...but I don't, so I can't. And yes, I have looked into satellite providers, but until they can offer speeds comparable to ye olde copper / fiber line (let alone bringing do

Update: Disregard the previous message. It took us almost ten hours to get to Savanna, Georgia due to the weather along the east coast yesterday (it's normally a 4-hour drive) only to discover that the rooftop air conditioner (in the 1-year old RV) wasn't working. Yeah, the middle aged Florida fat-b

Update: Hey! Guess who's un-furloughed next Monday? ******************************************************************* Hey! Guess who's getting furloughed next week? Some of you may or may not know that I actually work(ed) for a small-ish animation studio, though not in an artistic capacity. Essent

Update 3 💡 ✅ 🛜 ✅ —————————————————————- Update 3 💡 ✅ 🛜 ❌ —————————————————————- Update 2: Coming up on 72 hours since Milton roared through. Most of the power in my community has been restored (not mine yet) and the power company has said that the majority of the county should be restored by mid

Update: Despite being at the outermost squall line at the height of the storm on Thursday night / Friday morning the power only flickered a few times, but otherwise managed to stay on. For the most part, unlike our neighbors to the west and northwest, we only got tropical storm force winds...I think

Sorry, the usual Friday post will be delayed due to late night stupidity at (real) work. I probably won’t get home til midnight…and definitely won’t be awake long enough to post anything.

**Update** Idalia was all but a non-event here in central Florida. This far inland all we've gotten is a lot of rain and tropical storm force wind gusts....nothing to write home about. I went to bed at 2am fully expecting the power to be out when I got up at 10am, but....nope. We're still under a Tr

:D :D :D Update :D :D :D ______________________________________________________________________________________ Just a quick note to let everyone know that Monday‘s (and possibly Wednesday’s) Pareon posts as well as Monday‘s public post will probably be delayed a day or so. Some time last night I lo

Update: Buh-bye Nichole. Thanks for for knocking the the power out for six hours (of which, I slept through three). Just long enough to drag the generator out, cover myself in gasoline, start said generator...and watch the power come back on fifteen minutes later. Fuck you, Nichole. Other than that,

Patreon has finally gotten their stuff together, offering billing from the point you join rather than the first of the month. New patrons will now be on a monthly billing cycle from the day they join. Current patrons will not be affected by this. The problem was that a lot of people get paid towards

Update 4: Let there be light! And air conditioning! And internet! And Phillip saw that it was good. ________________________________________ Update3: Well, another year, another hurricane. I can’t say we came away completely unscathed as there is a pine tree in my front yard which took down the powe

Now until June 19th get 15% off a new annual membership in any tier. Offer valid for new annual memberships only. Existing annual members will continue to be charged at the rate they signed up at. Update: Guess who got a job? :D Details to follow. Some of you may have already read over on Gagala's patreon that, yes, I am in fact on the job hunt again. This time last year...a year and ten days ago to be exact...I accepted a position on the same airport I'd worked on for nearly a decade a half,

FYI: I'm taking a day off from everything tomorrow. What with the new job, a lack of a social life this past month, and recovering from my second covid shot a few days ago...my body (and brain) needs a little break. Monday's usual post will come out on Tuesday (June 1st), Wednesday's on Thursday (Ju

I can't remember if I made a post after I quit my job back in January of this year. The long and short of it was (as most of you know) that I was furloughed from my long-time employer, a private aviation company on a nearby airport, just before Christmas of 2019. I didn't find another job until Marc

To celebrate the end of the dumpster fire that was 2020, now until the end of January 2021 all new annual memberships are 15% off. I would have liked to put it at twenty or twenty five percent, but Patreon caps the max percentage at sixteen percent. Sorry, this sale is not retroactive for previous a

Five years ago I never would've thought that I'd get more than a handful of patrons. Once again, I've been proven wrong, and have no one to thank but all you pervs out there. :D A little celebratory piece / jab at the G-Man and myself. Original Art by Gagala Edits by Phillipthe2

It's been quite a while since I posted an 'in the works'. What with getting a new (real) job back in the March, the continued search for something better (because the new job sucks), and keeping up with consistent posting here, I just haven't had the time to do one. Back at the beginning of the year

Do you like it or not? I'm kinda on the fence. **Update** Despite the 10 (out of 131) people who would prefer waffles, the new header image stays. I did however, modify it a little bit...bra straps. I'd prefer not to get dinked for "implied nudity"....again. *rolls eyes*

Just a quick note to let everyone know that as of September 1st I started accepting annual payments. You can still opt to do the old monthly payment thing, the choice is yours. If you opt for the yearly billing method you save 8% annually....which I may increase depending upon how many people utiliz

Ah yes, another year...another hurricane. Welcome to sunny Florida. :D Unlike the Category 4 hurricane we had a few years ago that came up the center of the state and gave me a new roof, this one is only a Cat 1, not expected to strengthen beyond that, and is staying just offshore in the Atlantic. As a fan of Kim Possible who often uses screen shots from the show / movie as background references, I'm often flummoxed by inconsistencies with the layout of the Possible's home. Some of you may be familiar with my "rejects"? Whether oversights by the original creators or just a straight up lack of
