Hurricane Isaias
Ah yes, another year...another hurricane. Welcome to sunny Florida. :D
Unlike the Category 4 hurricane we had a few years ago that came up the center of the state and gave me a new roof, this one is only a Cat 1, not expected to strengthen beyond that, and is staying just offshore in the Atlantic. The worst I will see (45 miles inland) is tropical storm force winds. Any normal (non-pandemic) year and we don't even close the schools for tropical storm warnings.
I should start feeling Isaias' effects some time tomorrow evening, but this time I ain't fuckin' around...I invested in a whole-house generator just after Hurricane Irma in 2017. I'm not sitting around, sweatin' my ass off, with no running water for two weeks. I'm old-ish, slightly overweight, and needs my air conditioning. :P :D
I've scheduled a bunch of posts in the event the cable / internet goes out....'cuz my peeps need their toon pr0n. :D
It's pronounce Ee-sah-ee-ahs by the way.

Isaias was a non-event here. And here I WAS, looking forward to a nice albeit wet three day weekend. Couldn't even do that, could you? And you call yourself a hurricane...you sonofabitch. :P :D

Yeah I've been watching the news and I wasn't too worried concerning it's path, not like last time, but I knew you were gonna get wet for sure. But since your better prepared this time around and the tree is already split I have faith all will be okay this time around. But be safe and stay well anyway and we'll see you on the other side.
