I've checked around a few of your mod videos and can't place which mod it is that allows you to make sims outside of your household part of the selectable household temporarily. I saw a video form a few years ago featuring Control Any Sim by Titain Nano, but it's been marked s archived so I wasn't sure it was the same one you're using now.
I believe it's called Sim Control Hub https://www.curseforge.com/sims4/mods/sim-control-hub Maybe that is what you're looking for!

Thank you for all the great content you’ve been sharing! I really appreciate how much effort goes into showcasing all these amazing builds and explaining the save. The rental home by The Tides Changing is beautiful, and I love the way you highlight these creators. However, I’m having a hard time finding some of the builds on the Gallery because the search engine can be so specific—it’s easy to miss things if the exact name or creator isn’t used. Would it be possible for you to list the builds you feature in each video in the description? Even just the ones used in the episode would be super helpful! I understand you’re likely planning to share all the builds as the series progresses, and I’m excited to follow along. But having the names written down somewhere would make it much easier for viewers to explore them in-game. Thanks again for all your hard work, and I look forward to seeing how the series unfolds!
