I made a tiktok account because on YouTube the maximum size of a short video is 60 seconds, but I didn't know about it and made a larger video. Now this vertical video is displayed as a full-fledged video and it looks very strange, ha-ha. But I decided not to delete it and leave it for those who are comfortable watching on YouTube.

I constantly get a lot of messages that someone is unable to combine my mod and "stand still" mods from other authors. In fact, I do not even know what the problem might be, since I myself have used mods from other authors up to this point... So I decided to make my own version specifically for this mod so that everything works for everyone, ha-ha.
You can still combine the main mod with "stand still" and "close up stand still" mods from other authors if you want. I recommend using my version so that everything works correctly.

You are downloading an archive with 9 folders. You only need to select one file from each folder (there are previews in each folder to make it easier to navigate). If there is only one file in the folder, it means that at the moment there is no longer an option to choose a pose. I will make more options in the future. NO OCCULT FORM CHANGE ANIMATION and CLOSE UP STAND STILL are not required for installation and are installed optionally. From all other folders you MUST select one file.
Put selected files directly in the "mods" folder;
Do not change the name and do not put the file in subfolders.

❓ ANSWERS TO THE MOST COMMON QUESTIONS
«Does the mod work with other "stand still" mods?» Yes, it works. You need to put all the files in main folder.
«The mod does not work at all». There is a conflicting mod in your folder. A small list of conflicting mods is listed in the description of the mod. As a rule, all of it is associated with a change in the "randomization" of sims.
«The main part of the mod is working, but I can't see the nails (the camera is somewhere below)». You need to delete the old version of the mod. If you don't have it, then there is a conflicting mod in your folder. A small list of conflicting mods is listed in the description of the mod. «The main part of the mod is working, but the hand pose doesn't work». Most likely, there is some kind of another "stand still" mod in your folder. If you want to use the mod together with another "stand still" mod, make sure that you followed all the installation instructions.

«The game doesn’t launch with the mod or says the files are broken». I advise you to try downloading again, because sometimes files break when downloading due to an unstable Internet connection or during use on your hard drive. Don't forget to delete the old files before doing so. Also some archiving programs can corrupt files during the extraction process. I recommend using the built-in Windows OS archiver, or you can use the alternative link provided in the post and download the required files one by one.

Hi! I had the same confusion too. I'm pretty sure they're the same mod, this one is just the more "up-to-date" one. I had both installed on accident because I thought they did separate things. Just follow the directions for this post and you should be good to go. It works exactly the same, just make sure to add all of the poses from each age category folder.
Hola! I wanted to know if you plan to update your mod so it shows the missing base layer category? It's the exact same issue as before when they added the body glow and the mod was removing it in CAS UI. Thanks a lot for your work, your mods are a must <3
Hi! I also use this mod in my game and the base layer category is visible. Are you sure that this particular mod is causing this error? Try to remove all mods except for it to check it out.
I don't know if this will ever be seen lol but I've noticed there is a brief T-pose moment (for the female frame at least) when transitioning from the nails/bracelets close up to any of the head's elements (hair, accesories, skin details etc) that occurs while the camera is zooming out. I hope there's a possibility to fix that, or if someone knows how to fix that please me know, thanks <3

Hi! Is there a way to enable the close-up zoom ONLY for the Nails category, and not for Rings? Currently, the camera locks onto the hands in the Rings category too, and I can't zoom out with the mouse wheel. I want to keep the Rings category at the default distance. Which files should I use?

idk if its my game or the march 17th update but when i click any category for example the nails, instead of zooming in it turns my sim to the side then zooms in and does the same thing every time i try to add or take off an accessory

download the last two downloads, extract the zip file, remove all but 1 pose out of each folder and place all 9 and the base directly into your mods folder. i hope i explained this well

The stand still mods seem to break the ui in CAS and makes the sims disappear. It's with all stand still Cas mods.. Not sure if it's conflicting with any other mods but it with the most recent update version 1.122.218.1030

I commented under someone else's comment about this but to make this more known I am making my own comment; make sure that you put each file you choose for the poses into the ACTUAL main mods folder! I also thought that it was fine to leave in the subcategory folders provided by the download, but I kept running into my game breaking. Just treat each pose as you would a normal mod. All packages in the main mods folder! Btw I am not knocking anyone for making this mistake (I made this own mistake myself and it led me to deleting my whole mods folder because I was so confused as to what made it break lmao)

Hey! I had the same issue until I tried putting the one package from each folder into the actual main mods folder (instead of keeping it in the subcategory folders provided by the mod download)! I hope this helps :)
a heads up for anyone running into issues: i was having trouble with this mod, all the poses and features would work for male of all ages and female of all ages EXCEPT teen-adult. After some narrowing down, it seems the conflicting mod was SimMotion by Simdulgence
To add to Lily's comment, while SimMotion is more general, both mods contain animation overrides that replace the idle CAS animation. If you insist on using both, I recommend organising your files, so the game reads NSW's mod first.

Make sure to choose only ONE from each of the nine folders provided AND download BOTH ‘HANDS CLOSE UP POSITION’ and ‘CONTROLLED POSITION MOD’ and put those two along with the ONE pose you chose from each of the 9 folders provided in your mod folder. Remember ONLY ONE FROM EACH ALONG WITH THE ‘HANDS CLOSE UP POSITION’ and ‘CONTROLLED POSITION MOD’ ☺️💓

For some reason they only stand still when you go to the nails.. the nail pose works but the main one doesn't and I have no other stand still mods. What am I doing wrong?? I have the hands up close positions package in my mods folder along with the controlled position base (UPDATE: I've had to just completely pick a different stand still mod sadly and remove yours from my folder ): but this other one is working fine. I have no idea what the issue is )

Do you have a Discord or support space? I am having some issues with this mod that I can't quite figure out. Whenever I click fingernails, the camera zooms into the face, but the hands don't raise. edit: i resolved that. now i am wondering how to restore the stand still part. sims are sadly flailing.
The mod works fine but on female sims only, the right hand position is skewed. It causes CAS poses to be distorted as well. I don't have any other CAS standstill mods so I don't think anything is conflicting.

Hi! I don't know who else is having this issue, but I am having unzipping issues. I used both the alternate link as well as trying to convert the rar file. to zip. Both times it says that I can't unzip the folder because the paths are too long. I had it remove all the ones that were causing issues, and it removed them all lol. I'm not sure why but if anyone knows how to fix this or the creator themselves that would be appreciated as I really want to try this stand still TvT
Entendi tus instrucciones perfectamente, sobre que tienes que descomprimir el archivo y meterlo directamente a la carpeta de mods (sin subcarpetas), y tambien entendi que solo tienes que escoger un archivo de cada carpeta, y lo hice tal cual y me funciona perfectamente. Al inicio tenia un problema porque yo escogí las poses especiales en niño, infante y bebés, pero me aparecian totalmente quietos (rectos) sin hacer la pose especial que yo habia escogido, y lo que hice fue eliminar un mod que yo tenia de "ESTARSE QUIETO" del creador MIZOREYUKII, lo eliminé completamente (incluso de la papelera) y eso solucionó el problema. AHORA ya me funciona tu mod correctamente y ya me aparecen las poses especiales que escogí. Asi que si buscan que este mod funcione ELIMINEN OTRO MOD QUE TENGAN DE "ESTARSE QUIETO" (INCLUSO BÓRRENLO DE LA PAPELERA O CUALQUIER CARPETA QUE HAYA QUEDADO DE ESE MOD). TIENEN QUE DESCARGAR LOS 3 ARCHIVOS (de este MOD), Y EL ARCHIVO QUE ES .RAR TENDRÁ 9 SUBCARPETAS DENTRO DE EL, Y DENTRO DE ESAS 9 CARPETAS HABRÁ UNA IMAGEN PARA QUE PUEDAN ESCOGER LA POSE QUE LES GUSTE DE "ESTARSE QUIETO" Y SOLO TIENEN QUE SELECCIONAR UNA SOLA POSE Y CUANDO LA SELECCIONEN LA TIENEN QUE CORTAR Y PEGAR EN LA CARPETA DE MODS (SOLO EN LA CARPETA DE MODS, SIN SUBCARPETAS) Y asi sucesivamente con las 9 carpetas que estan dentro del archivo .RAR (Porque tienen que escoger solo 1 de cada 1)..... Y los otros 2 archivos que son PACKAGE (que no estan dentro del archivo .RAR) esos simplemente los seleccionan, los cortan y los pegan directamente en la carpeta de MODS (sin subcarpetas)..... Wow, this is AMAZING! Thank you so, so much for this! Also, it seems like some people are having trouble with this mod, I tried it and the sims wouldn't open, then I reread the mod instructions - the mod can't be in subfolders. So you have to take the unzipped mod package that you want for the cas poses, just drag the one you want into your mods folder. No subfolders! It works for me! Hope that help and thanks again for this awesome mod!

whenever I download just the close up hand position my camera is positioned lower to the sims hips and only the pose has changed :( I can't view a close up of the hands at all! I'm also using helgatisha stand still mod with this

Since my game was unable to start, I slowly took out mods and this one was the culprit. It was working fine before I restarted my mod folder and re-downloaded this mod.

hi! I'm having a problem where my sims will be still and the hand position works but in the accessories/tattoo categories it still makes them turn rather than facing front and I don't know if it's something on my end as U have redownloaded and tested with barely any mods/cc and it still does it

I'm also having the problem already related by some consisting in the game not even start loading due to the error "de4ee14f:29f00e76:00000000:4b0d852b" (message "Unable to start Cannot start because game data is missing or damaged. If you have Mods installed please remove them and try again. If not, please repair or reinsrall the game via Origin"). Tried downloading files again and again, repairing the game, running only this mod and nothing helps. The problem seems to be only with the folder in the .rar file.

Hey, I'm not sure what's going on, but I keep getting an error pop-up saying game damaged or data missing whenever this mod is placed in my folder. So for the infant, the pillow still shows up in the standing pose. Is there a way/override to get rid of the pillow completely?

Hey, seems I'm having the same issue as other users and cannot extract the files in the zip, even from the alternative link. Do I need these files for the stand still function to work? Or can I get away with not having it and just going back to using stand still in cas by mizoreyuki?

I'm having an issue with the "stand still constructor" zip file. When I extract the zip file none of the package files are in there. It's just the image previews. I tried extracting a package file by itself and it said it was in an unknown format or damaged.

I also wanting to advise when I downloaded the Zip file hmm it was not a happy Jan, I had to open the Zip with using the extract Compressed (Zipped) folders it gave me an error 0x80010135: Path too long, so I pressed cancelled and when looking into the file opened, I only received 2 of the folders. but I can get around it.

Hello I clicked on extract and get an unexpected error 0x80010135: Path too long. Even when I did the Alternative Link it was the same thing. It's never done this before for me should I just not extract the file and just pull the poses from the file? Or is this just an error on my end.

I think it might not be, I put it in and it worked the first time, but after my game would crash when going into CAS and not start til I removed this, not 100% sure it’s this, but good chance, I’d wait for confirmation.

i have a question about the hands. Is there a diffrent options for the hand when in cas? Mine are folded over and you cant see the rings on the other hand and if you want a belly button you cant see it unless you click out and then back in.

any chance of an update with tattoo poses? its really hard to draw lowerbody tattoos when the game zooms into the face also maybe an option for the accessories that are not nails not be zoomed, bc a lot of cc is other stuff in those slots and i have to change categories to look at them if that is possible
Hi! I also ran into this problem ! I decided as follows : in the park with the mod there are numbered subfolders , files .The package is stored in 2 subfolders. So, I moved the mod files from the subfolders to the main one. That is, you need to make sure that the package files without subfolders are immediately in the folder. After that, the game started.
hi i dont think youll ever see my post but idk if your mod is broken. every time i put it in my mods folder and boot my game up it always says that there's "game data missing" and when i take this specific mod out of my folder my game is able to boot up.
Heyyy I had the same problem, did u keep the folders in there, like that they're called 1. childeren stand still poses? cause if u did it's probably cause they're numbers in there, delete the numbers and points and it should work!

This mod honestly saved me today! I’m not sure if you’ve noticed, but with the latest update, the CAS zoom in is way too exaggerated. When you zoom in to the maximum, it can even cut off parts of a Sim’s hair, depending on the hairstyle of course. Thank you so much for this! I make Sims in CAS, film and turn them into shorts, and today I almost cried when I saw how ridiculous the zoom in is and realized I couldn't make my content the way I used to. Thank you again for this absolute game-changer! ❤️

That’s true. It’s simply because EA didn’t include separate animations for girls or boys. So, technically, it’s impossible to create separate animations for the game, at least with the programming knowledge I have right now. Maybe I’ll learn more in the future.

Nvm, I got the mod to work. It turned out that the website I was using to convert rar to zip was corrupting my files. I used a different website and it seemed to work fine.
hi! for some reason the only part of this mod that's working for me is the nail position, my sim won't stand still. even the arrows aren't usable which i know is what happens when you install the mod.

Hey luv your close-up hand pose isn't really working like it's supposed to it keeps turning the sim to the side as the sim does the hand pose so we can't see the sims hand because the camera is pointed down while the sims hand is up

hi the mod isnt working for me, everytime i go to nails the camera goes to the bottom were you normally see nails. i've read the common questions answers and the stand still conflict but the issue is i have nothing that conflict's with it i've even restarted my game and folder.

hey it was just working last night for me and i havent added anything new to my mods folder but now today it will not work i even deleted it and downloaded it again
The only thing I can assume is that there is a conflicting file in your folder. The game started reading them in a different order and everything broke down.

There may be a problem with the archiver installed on your computer. There are no zip files in the alternative link, you need to manually download the files you need from the folder. If you want to download the entire folder at once, Google will make an archive of it itself.

When I'm in the clothes section, it doesn't stop moving. I updated, downloaded it again, repaired my game, and still doesn't work. I looked if i had a mod causing conflict in my folder but I don't. I just tried with only this mod in my mod folder, and the sim still moves. I don't know what to try anymore... It use to work for me till lovestruck update... Hi idk if I'm being a bit slow but I have the latest update of this mod and it works great except for when I go to tattoos and click in different sections....sadly it turns when I do. Not sure if I did something wrong

this is very pretty but sadly my CAS doesn't open at all after installing this mod and i only use CC and more columns mod without any other script mods... this was the only mod that i installed and launched the game but whether it's from the mirror or trying to start a new game, this mod just lets me in the loading screen until i literally have to restart my pc manually. it's a shame but i guess i'll go back to the other standstill mod.

this might be a stupid question but i'm going to ask it anyways for clarification. in the description, it says the mod itself and classic stand still is required. then below that, it say choose only one version. is the one version suppose to be either classic, n1, or n2 or is it suppose to be classic and either n1 or n2 of any version for any gender?

Hi, I am not sure if this is an issue you have received, but I would like to report something I noticed when using this mod with occult children. The special pose for children animates on its own. The arm moves back and forth. I have only seen this on occult children, more specifically vampire and werewolf children (as I mainly play with those two occults, I am unsure if this affects all occult children). The other poses work fine and I don't have any issues with them, just this one regarding occult children. I have tested this with only this mod in my mods folder to check if it isn't another mod but it still happens.

Hi! Much like the others who have commented here, the Special Children/Male Poses work for me but not the Special Female Poses. The female sims will stand in the Classic position but not the installed Special Pose. This happens despite having no CC besides Controlled Position Mod V2.0, Hands Close Up Positions, and the Classic Stand Still files directly in my Mods folder alongside the special poses. I have tested both the female N1/N2 poses one version at a time and both do not work. I wanted to use female pose N2, so I have just that at the moment alongside the Controlled Position Mod V2.0, Hands Close Up Positions, and Classic Stand Still which all work other than the female poses. The male special pose N2 and children special pose N1 work for me. I also tried removing the male/children poses to see if they affected the female pose but that did nothing. I have all of the pre-required files installed and no other mods (in case there are conflicts). I have not changed any of my files' names nor have put them in any subfolders, and I am a Mac player using the most recent versions of both the Sims game and the mods.

between the "classic close up and stand still in cas" and the one thats just "classic stand still in cas", which one has your version of the close up? sorry if it should be obvious but i wasn't sure which one to use
"Classic close up stand still in cas" is only no animations on close up face, "classic stand still in cas" is only no animations on full body view. You need to put both files if you need complete motionlessness.

Heyy, I'm having an issue where I can't use back and butt sliders with this mod installed.
Update: It appears to be any slider where you have to turn your sims sideways that doesn't work with this mod. Even the basegame sliders are having trouble

In both this and the previous version, you can rotate characters using the mouse, keyboard or gamepad!
