Playlist🎵 Bastet
Act 77
Mel
After Lusje had told him a few basics of sexual health care—which, by the way, was incredibly weird, hearing this from a literal snake who regularly did pretty uncomfortable sexual things with him, even though it was a necessity—Mel, soberingly, felt even less ready to face Bastet.
The demon had opened up a big enough portal to the other deity’s building complex, but Mel still wasn’t ready to go through.
“But—but! But shouldn’t I bring a g-gift? Something? Anything? An offering?”
“YOU are the offering, twatwaffle, now GO!” The snake hissed, annoyed, now pulling him by his arm through the portal with magic.
Once Mel was on the other side, the small animal was gone and silent. But the strange sensation on his back told him that Lusje had fused with his skin again, in its usual white tattoo shape.
“Okay. Okay. You can do this,” Mel said to himself while walking up to her apartment door, number 312. He remembered without really thinking about it.
Lusje didn’t comment anymore. It seemed as if the demon had decided to follow up on its promise to stay silent right away.
Once Mel reached the door, he nervously adjusted his clothes; he was wearing a simple, black waistcoat, a white shirt, suit pants, and a black tie embroidered with little golden stars. He silently cursed Lusje, because now he really felt like he was missing a bouquet of flowers or… something more creative, like a box of crystal candy. Or perhaps an offering of traditional Egyptian sweets, if he could’ve figured out where exactly Bastet used to reside back then.
There it was again, this word… ‘offering.’ He had never called gifts like that before. However, this was the only way he could think of it at the moment.
Suddenly, the door opened up on its own, with a soft creak, now ready to be passed through.
“I’ve been expecting you, child.”
Of course she was.
Upon hearing her voice, Mel’s body instantly tensed and straightened up.
He shouldn’t keep her waiting. Not a second.
He took one last breath of his world, then entered hers.
---
As last time, her apartment was dimly lit, air heavy with unknown incense, and full of feline companions, all accompanied by rhythmic music; whispering stories from long-forgotten times.
Unlike last time, however, she didn’t hide on high furniture, waiting to be perceived. Instead, she sat on one of her session chairs like a throne in front of her stereotypical round fortune-teller table, leaning back in a leisurely way, smoking on a traditional Asian pipe again.
She didn’t wear her usual, slightly more modern-looking clothes, though. Not even her round glasses. This time, she wore a brown robe, slightly akin to a chiffon sari, wrapped around her body like art, with one of her breasts exposed, as if it was the most natural thing. Around her waist she wore a simple, black fabric as a belt; around her arms and neck, delicate golden jewelry. Even though the robe looked rather simple, upon closer inspection everything about it was absolutely divine in its convenience. The fabric hugged her like air, dripping off her body like semi-translucent water. It felt like she was born with it.
“It is named kalasiris. Spun from linen older than kings and the shimmer of stars, by sacred ibises. Tayet—my companion of ages past—wove it for me, when the world was yet young. I deemed it fitting for this hour.”
She wore it for Mel?
His heart pounded against his chest, trying to break free.
“I.. I also wear my best…” Mel began but quickly stopped in his words, feeling ashamed to compare his earthly clothes to Bastet’s perfect lining.
“I can see that,” she interrupted his words and thoughts, without any ulterior tone. “You wrapped my present in delightful semblance. I am well pleased.”
His eyes fluttered, his shaky breath having a hard time leaving his lungs.
He had pleased her. Something he felt he was made for. To exist, just to please her.
“Now, now, child. We both don’t actually wish this to be true,” she answered his thoughts.
“I do,” Mel instantly answered, and it made her chuckle the most beautiful noise he ever heard.
“I allow it to be true, for this night alone. As much as I am intrigued by having you as my eternal devotee, I am no less interested in witnessing your ascent in this world. And for that, your heart must remain undivided.
Now, come closer. Let me look at you again, beloved child of mine.”
Mel obeyed.
Her scent made his head spin and his knees weak. Again, he felt the incredible need to bend before her.
Bastet got up, growing into her tall, 2-meter height, towering over him like a cruel goddess that had taken a liking to him.
“What dost thou desire to do?”
“To worship you.”
“You already do, my love. I can feel it in every pore,” she said, and to Mel’s euphoria, her voice brimmed with pleasure. “Still I ken your desire. And I bid you to follow the yearnings of both your body and mind, without restraint.”
He immediately lowered his head and got on one knee.
“Good, mortal. As for the next step… is there any title you want to address me with?”
All of them. Lady. Ma’am. Mistress. Queen. Mother. Empress. Goddess.
“They all flow naturally from you, do they now? Your devotion is as a draught of clear, cool water upon a parched and burning day,” Bastet praised him while brushing through his hair, “I will see which of these words will escape your lips instead of cries for help when the time is ripe.”
It sounded both like a promise and a threat.
“Now, get up. Let me see this beguiling body of yours.”
He immediately got up.
“Tell me, is there aught you would have me leave untouched? Unspoken? Ungiven?”
“No…”
“Just so I thought. And before you stepped into my realm? Did you think differently?”
Mel hesitated.
“Talk to me, child.”
“I… I thought so, at first. That there are parts of me I… I don’t like. But just because I don’t, doesn’t mean that you can’t. I want to be … yours. With all I like. And all I dislike.”
A warm smile adorned her face. “Your thoughts are just as noble and elegant as you are.”
With that, she touched his cheek again, her hand slowly brushing down his chest.
“So this chest belongs to me, too, then?”
“Yes.”
Hand brushing deeper, to his abdomen. “And your fertile soil?”
“Y-yes,” Mel repeated, “but… currently—”
“I know. Growing Lucifer’s spawn.”
Mel’s eyes fluttered again. He closed them.
“It terrifies you.”
He winced. She pulled him closer. Her warm skin comforting him.
“You are brave indeed, to endure what Lucifer brings upon you. His offspring… I’ve heard they can be ruthless. Yet your true struggle lies elsewhere. ’Tis what they stand for—and what they rob from you.”
“I… can’t keep secrets from you.” Mel responded, sheepishly.
“Because your spirit sings to me. The most ravishing and heartbreaking songs. And I am here to listen to them. To join in,” she whispered while gently caressing the curve of his abdomen. “For I am the deity of fertility. So lay thyself open. Let me touch this part of you, in all its sacred truth.”
Mel took a deep breath and relaxed his abdominal muscles, which he chronically tensed. He could feel his belly expanding and descending slightly into Bastet’s hands. It made his face flush with the heat of embarrassment.
“Most excellent, my beloved. This portion of you allures me as much as the whole; it is just as defiant of all bounds of gender and form.”
He looked up to her. “You can’t mean that…”
“Why not, little one? I’ve witnessed many deities, not born of womanhood, bring forth life. Even among mortals, such cases. Gender is but a garment — donned, shed, and ever-changing.”
Her touch became warmer. It felt good. He leaned into it. Into her words, too.
“Such a good child. You open yourself to my voice. It makes me proud of you. To be trusted with this burdened piece of your body—'tis a gift most sacred. I thank you, Melodie van de Sterren.”
Mel couldn’t hold back a slight moan. Her touch and words did something to him… It pushed him into a new mindset, or rather: the lack of one. He became less and less himself, and more… what? He couldn’t tell. And he didn’t care.
“I can still feel the shackles of the world’s perception on you. I wish to free you from them. My sweet boy, my precious daughter, my beloved child. Your heart and choices determine your worth, not your body, nor your sex. Not whether you bear fruit nor fertilize.”
Her hands on his belly… it made him feel beyond good. Her words caressed him even more.
“Now, child of mine, what about this?” his goddess asked, her hand now brushing between his legs, clinging confidently onto what he understood to be hers.
A bolt of… something rushed through his body. A sensation as strong and primal as he had never felt before. He immediately saw stars and clung onto her arm.
He heard her laugh. It sounded less motherly now, more mischievous, triumphant, and lustful. But he didn’t mind. If anything, he liked it. Liked that she showed him this darker, rawer side of hers. That his reaction made her like this.
“It is…. all yours…” he panted, feeling his entrance clenching around nothing, wetting his underwear under the pressure of her fingers.
“It is,” she confirmed, hot breath close to his ear. “This part of you, too, yearns for me, doesn’t it?”
He hadn’t thought about it before. But there was no denying it.
“Yes …. mistress….”
Her laughter grew louder, hungrier.
“There it is… your first cry for deliverance, veiled in this sublime title you chose. What for do you weep, my wondrous human?”
“M--- more ….” he admitted, shame washing over his body hand in hand with arousal.
“Good… very good. You will receive what you beg for. But first, you shall kneel again—and show me what your tongue is capable of beyond weaving honeyed words.”
