Act 75
Mel
Despite having been murdered once by Bastet, the demon actually encouraged Mel to visit her, possibly because he was excited to hear Mel actively state that his soul belongs to Lusje.
“In all honesty, kid, it’ll do you good. I know our birds & bees sessions aren’t exactly what you—or most humans, really—consider nice,” the snake said while being curled up around his arm. “Though I really do hold back a lot on you,” it added sulkingly.
“Thank you for being so understanding,” Mel said while sitting on his bed in his new, small, 1-room apartment. It really wasn’t much; but it was Mel’s and proof of his success. The evening sun threw its last rays through the open blinds in front of the window, casting striped shadows and golden light all across the room.
“By Satan’s dingleberries, you shouldn’t thank me for something like that! Sheesh, you really are as gullible as they get.”
“Thank you,” Mel repeated with a smile.
The snake seemed to blush and looked the other way. “Whatever. Want me to part with you for this?”
Melchior thought about it.
“I… I think I’d like you to stay with me. Is that weird…?”
“Is it?”
Mel hesitated.
“It’s not. For me. I … think. It’s just… I wouldn’t know her without you. I don’t want you to feel left out. And… and you also… I don’t know… you feel like part of me, I guess?”
---
Lucifer
The demon stared at the human. The kid was all kinds of things—but he certainly wasn’t a liar. At least not when it came to feelings or anything else; outside his profession, at least.
“You really think so, huh?”
“Yes, Lusje” Mel assured her.
There it was again, this weird nickname the kid gave her. It had been strange, hearing the human calling the demon Lusje for the first time. And it still was. After all, it didn’t represent anything that he—the great and powerful Lucifer, first of the demons, God’s prodigy and former favorite child, bringer of light and death—actually was. It was nothing but a diminutive of the Dutch word fpr ‘loop’, as if Lucifer were some kind of joke. But having that fragile, mortal, soft body always touch her so sweetly, looking for comfort and companionship, feeling that naive, but deep trust… That combined with this soft-spoken new nickname… The demon couldn’t help but like it.
“Can’t say no to that, then,” she answered.
Damn it. The human was really growing on her. More than he had anticipated. And probably way more than what was good for Lucifer.
But the pact has been done; there was no use questioning it again and again. Besides, what gives? It's not like anyone was there to judge them. God averted Their all-seeing eye a long time ago, her friends have forgotten about her, and all humans she ever knew are dead by now. Okay, there was Bastet, but that drug-huffing, breeding-obsessed fanatic was just as fallen as Lucifer, if not more so. She was even crazy enough to suggest pacts, too. So if anything, she was one of the few who would approve of Lucifer catching one or two feels for a human. Just tiny ones, nothing more than what an owner would feel for their pet. Or a farmer for their livestock.
“But… but don’t be a commentator, please,” Mel added, snapping the demon out of his thoughts.
“Not even a “fuck yeah” or “Hole in one!”?”
The human’s face turned red in shame. “Especially not those!”
Lucifer giggled.
Then, Melchior added sheepishly, “Besides, I don’t even know, if we… you know—”
“Oh, my sweet prince of sexual delusion,” the demon interrupted them, “of course ya will. Balls to the wall. She’ll fuck ya braindead. Sorry for the spoilers, bub.”
The demon could feel all the muscles inside the human grow stiff. His hands clutched onto the fabric of his pants.
“You know why I tell you this, right?”
“To make fun of me?” The kid whispered, stressed.
Lucifer rolled his eyes. “To make ya aware. Once you’re there, you won’t be able to think clearly and resist anymore. Safewords won’t be of any use. So I want ya to make your decision here.”
Lucifer could feel the human tremble. It was pretty pathetic how nervous and flustered he got about the fuckeries, especially considering the prince of hell fucked and impregnated him regularly, in rather beastly fashion. But it was a little adorable, too.
“Will… wilI I do things that I regret? Will she hurt me?”
Lucifer wrapped his serpent body tighter around Melchior’s arm to keep him from drifting into anxiety.
“Try not to piss yourself. It’s the perfect opposite. Knowing Bast, she will do everythin’ to make ya feel anything but pure bliss. Even heal parts of you, if possible. Ya probably won’t regret anythin’, but knowin’ yar prude arse, I reckon ya might be confused afterwards, and ashamed of a couple of things. But no regrets. And you will have had a glimpse of actual paradise. It’s not every day that a devotee can churn their familiar god’s butter. Not nowadays, anyway.”
The kid’s face couldn’t get any redder.
“Why are you warning me, then?”
“Because I want my human to make conscious choices. Being a fuckslave is hot. Doing it of free will is hotter, though. In most cases, at least.”
Finally, the human’s hands relaxed, and he gently petted the snake’s head.
“I think I understand. Thank you, Lusje. Then I just have one more question.”
“And what’s that?”
“What’s a safeword?”
Lucifer opened his tiny mouth in silence, staring at the clueless, dumb piece of work. He would have to do quite a bit of explaining before they could head over to Bastet’s.

Mel is so adorable
Bahahaha! Don't get me wrong, I'm a lot like Mel when it comes to sexual matters, but even I know what a safeword is! XD Thank goodness Lusje is at least (mostly) cool about it. 😅
