Been having more fun with pens! About halfway through, starting around the drawing with "53" in the corner, I switched to micron pens. I found a version with different colors, and I really enjoy the way they look. The pen I was using before skipped a lot, and you don't get that with the microns, so

Only a quarter to play! A while back I drew Lucia in a claw machine, and I wanted to do it again but with a little more interesting angle. And then when I was deciding what plush to fill it up with, I figured the new Alfredo plush was the best... Art wise, a couple of notes here is that I struggled

Some more traditional stuff! All of Isabelle, for whatever reason she’s what I default to drawing when im in my sketchbooks or working with marker. An interesting tidbit about the one of her in the blue jacket colored in marker—I’ve been studying this Japanese artist who posts marker drawings for ye

Hey guys! I was lucky to be asked to do a variant cover for our good friend Luny since he's bringing his comic into print. It's a really good story, so if you haven't read it yet this is a great way to get started, plus supporting indie comics is always cool. Here's the link if you want to check it

More Lucia and Mia public shenanigans! I cannot even describe how tricky this angle was to draw, I must have redrawn Lucia dozens of times until I finally got something I'm happy with. Foreshortened poses also pose a unique challenge to the monoline style, which is the lines look really thin on the

I've been drawing traditionally more, again! Truthfully, I used to draw in my sketchbooks every single morning as a warmup. I had a rule that I wasn't allowed to show anyone anything I drew in them. I think this helped me free up my mind and draw whatever it was I wanted. However, as time goes by an

Does anyone remember YuYu Hakusho? I've been rewatching it, and when I got to the Dark Tournament, Juri's design caught my eye right away. There's something so fun about it, so I've been wanting to draw her for a while. I rarely draw fanart, so this may surprise some of you, especially such a niche

Hello, everyone! We recently released a new comic on the Motion of the Ocean, $10 tier. This is a 7 page one-shot based off this post we released a few weeks ago. We're hoping to continue releasing more short comics like this from time to time, as we had a blast working on this one. We hope everyone

This piece is somewhat similar to the other train pieces I've drawn, it's a fun setting. I like drawing the other characters around the train interacting with her, or just going about their day! It being sort of a cramped space allows for lots of detail to be added in. Although, looking at it again,

Continuing my work on simple backgrounds here. I've been trying to think of it as stylizing backgrounds, both in line and in color, the same way I might characters. That's been a huge help when thinking about it, because you don't always need to capture the exact colors, just what they feel like. Of

EVERYONE, THE LUCIA PLUSH IS ONLY AVAILABLE UNTIL AUGUST 9TH, 10AM PT. THAT MEANS THERE ARE LESS THAN FIVE DAYS TO PREORDER ONE BEFORE THEY ARE GONE FOREVER! https://youtooz.com/products/lucia-lancaster-plush-9-inch

Another Kenji Tsuruta inspired piece! There's something about the casual nature of it I like. I won't try and analyze my own art that way, but I find it comfortable. Also... what a cool outfit for Mia! At least I think so. I love these really cozy layered looks. I had to include some takoyaki for Mi

As warmups I've been drawing some silly little Lucias. Some of them I think are pretty cute and kind of funny, so I figured I'd share them here, so here are the ones from July!
