π¦ We can "format" links in posts again, finally!
I noticed this yesterday.
It appears Patreon finally re-enabled formatting options on links and hyperlinked text.
Don't get too excited, because we had this before, sometime back in 2018, and they took it away for who knows what reason, so it might be gone again next week, or tomorrow, or today! Who knows?!

β // β THE FUTURE OF MY POST FORMATTING:
Some time ago I received a complaint that my in-line hyperlinked text was near indistinguishable from regular text, which is something I've known for a while because it's been an issue on Patreon for years. I've complained about it before over on Reddit and I've reached out to creators in the past to inform them that their formatting totes sucks - I didn't actually use those words. I'm a nice person, except when I'm intentionally being mean! πΉ
In response, I did some research, found that once upon a time we could "underline" links and hyperlinked text, and sent a support ticket to Patreon.
But I'm an impatient filly, so I started adding "[π]" for my in-line links and dropping the link on the globe emoji. I intend to continue doing this because it's a good visual indicator.
I might use the "underline" formatting for some - SOME - hyperlinked text in the future (as seen in my Main Menu Override post in the THIRD-PARTY BOOTY section).
I don't trust Patreon to not take this away in the future, again, for absolutely no reason, again, so I'm gonna proceed as though it will happen eventually, regardless how long it's available. Plus, my posts are long and underlined text will get lost anyway, and ain't nobody got time for egg hunts.
In the past I have used "underline" and "italic" formatting, but I intend to purge all of it while I overhaul my posts, so if you see underlined text in the future, it's a hyperlink.
Also, there are never any fly ads on my many, many, many links.

With the amount of links I share, I could probably make a dollar every month! πΉ
Anyway, back to work. The internet is still here, for now, and I need to finish overhauling my "Main Menu Override" and "Custom Backgrounds" posts.
Also, Patreon's "release date" time is going bananas!
