Yeah, and I'd hate to be a member of the Sims team and have this broken game be representative of me and my work, and my love and passion for The Sims, all because EA cares more about churning our new content than the state of the game. <SIGH> I'm going to update my "SGFX" mods and calm down before I find myself on EA Forums and get myself perma-banned. This "Outfit Generation" thing pisses me off like our broken spines pissed me off.

☆ // ⋆ THINGS I NEED TO DO:

• Pfft. My "FOMO Unlocks" always work!✔️

  • I've only ever had to update a "FOMO Unlock" mid-event once, and that was during Reaper's Rewards when I figured out the "Live Event Compatibility".

• Update my "SGFX Overrides".✔️

  • Every update, every "SGFX Override"!

• Update my "SGFX Patches", if necessary.✔️

  • The patches work with the versions of the mods they were made for. If a mod updates, the patchmust update. Until then, there's nothing for me to do.

  • I'm meticulous about my "SGFX" mods. I update mine with every official game update to ensure 100% compatibility whether or not they're throwing errors - in fact, I don't even bother to check no more, because I know I'mma update it anyway. • With EAxis mucking around CAS, I need to check my "CAS Overrides".❓

• Verify my mods for update compatibility and complete the re-release.❓

☆ // ⋆ IT'S 2025 AND EA APP IS STILL THE WORST:

It's even worse than the Epic Games Launcher! Ubisoft has a better launcher and they USED TO BE on the same level as EA Origin! How is this still so bad in 2025?!

Electronic Arts has been in the videogame development, publishing, and distribution business for over (40) years. That's more years than I've been alive.

They're also a multi-BILLION dollar company. That's more money than I understand.

The internet still disconnects sometimes (and I had that day of no internet recently). Sometimes when it disconnects, I need to reset the router and bridge the WIFI signal again, but other times, the internet drops but the bridge stays connected and then the internet returns.

If EA App is in "Online Mode" when the latter happens, it goes into "Offline Mode" when the internet drops and back to "Online Mode" when the internet returns, and then EA App immediately craps itself. Nothing will launch despite the App having reconnected. Instead, it gives me a "failed to initialize error".

Other times when the internet drops or disconnects and the App goes into "OFFLINE MODE", it'll tell me "this action can't be performed in Offline Mode" and tell me I need to restart the App, at which point we're playing Russian Roulette. When I restart, EA App will do one of two things - it'll give me the option to load into "Offline Mode", or it will tell me my Login Credentials have expired and I need to login to continue.

☆ // ⋆ PRESERVING MY MINI RANT:

CAS FACE ZOOM -- It took a new EP for EAxis to fix the catdamn FACE camera zoom. Similarly, our broken spines (which were broken for SEVEN [7] MONTHS) didn't get fixed until Businesses and Hobbies was about to release. They're only fixing !@#$ so they can show off their new DLC. They needed a CAS headshot, so the camera finally got fixed. At this rate, "Outfit Generation" ain't ever getting fixed, and guess what, they managed to break it even more in today's update!

☆// - MY REPORT - IN PROGRESS:

ANIMATION STATE MACHINE -- Changed in Update 7/1/2025, which means I need to update AnimXGenWear. There's been no change between Update 7/1/2025 and 7/10/2025.

SCALE FORM GFX -- All but (1) "SGFX" resources have been modified again. These resources account for maybe half of this update.

CAS CATEGORIES -- "Accessories" (Body and Face), "Makeup" (Face), and "Tops", "Bottoms" and "Full Body" categories are still broken. When selecting the main "Accessories" and "Makeup" categories, all items in the sub-categories are supposed to show, not just the items in the first sub-category. As for the "Tops", "Bottoms" and "Full Body" categories, EAxis did some kinda arsery that makes the little (X) button appear on the "Tops" and "Bottoms" when wearing "Full Body" items. These things have been broken for months.

OUTFIT GENERATION -- This is even more broken now because hats are now remaining on sims' heads when getting nude. <IRRITATED SIGH> What are they gon' say now? All the hats are modded and have the "Nude/Bathing" TAG on them? IT'S THE CATDAMNED INSTALL FOLDER PYTHON FILES AND EAXIS NEEDS TO FIX WHAT THEY BROKE IN UPDATE 10/22/2024 AND NOW WORSE IN UPDATE 7/10/2025! THIS !@#$ HAS BEEN ONGOING FOR NINE (9) !@#$ING MONTHS! WHAT THE !@#$?! WOOSAH! Calm down, Sej. We can totes fix this. Right?

Base Game / Multipack

• [EA Forums] The ability to drag spoiled items from Object and Sim inventories to the trash or sink has been restored.

• [EA Forums] The Sharing is Caring Whiteboard can be placed once again!

• [EA Forums] Gnomes have stopped constantly wiggling, jumping, or shaking after being placed from Build Mode.

• Plants will keep their names and information when placing a Lot with gardened Plants from the Gallery.

• [EA Forums] Household members that have custom painting and are placed via Manage Households no longer lose their texture when you switch to that household. This includes Cats, Dogs, Horses, Werewolves, Fairies, and regular Sims.

Seasons

• Seed packets from Gnomes can now go into your Sim's inventory with the "Put in Inventory" interaction.

Console

• We have addressed stability issues introduced in a prior update on consoles. We will continue to monitor closely.
