๐ฆ Au Revoir, Mod The Sims!
In case you're wondering why it took me this long to get onto MTS even though I've known there was an issue for at least a week, it's because I'm dealing with internet that drops constantly - as in multiple times an hour.
When it's working, it's usually slow as !@#$ and some websites refuse to load properly. Even Discord regularly don't work properly - it hangs on a grey screen after launch. That's how crap the internet is! I can't even get past a Discord loading screen sometimes!
Imagine "Dial-up" internet, but it also disconnects constantly.
This is just one of the hurdles I'm dealing with on a daily basis while I'm here modding, and there's nothing that I am currently in a position to do about it.

4/22/2025 - "Pure Black Transition + Loading Screens" and "Main Menu Override" were flagged for something. I had used the "bypass" thing to get these two uploaded because at the time I was trying to figure out how to kill the full screen ads on the Main Menu - which SimMattically subsequently figured out.
4/27/2025 - All of my other mods were "tagged for removal either due to it not conforming with the rules for submission or because it is deemed outdated or broken by the staff."
5/6/2025 - "Pure Black Transition + Loading Screens" and "Main Menu Override" were "rejected". Because I used the "bypass" thing, it meant they still had to be approved even though they were available for download.

Was it my "related mods" section?
Was it the little bit about malware with links to my Patreon collection and my Reddit post?
Was it because I didn't respond immediately to whatever the reason was that "Pure Black Transition + Loading Screens" and "Main Menu Override" were flagged?
Is it because I listed "My Beautiful Squishy" in the "related mods" section, even though that section only contained MTS links?
Does it have anything to do with "My Beautiful Squishy"?
Was it because I patched those SGFX mods to remove UI effects "without permission"?
Is it because I was told not to for one of them and did it anyway, then shared it around?
Was it my "Find me Elsweyr" section?
Maybe I was too abrasive with my "FOMO Unlock" description? It certainly can't be because I uploaded that mod, because there are other unlocker mods on MTS that are very, very similar to mine.
Maybe it's consequences for me going ape !@#$ and calling out everyone after creating "CAS Filters"?
Shirley it's at least one of these things.
It certainly can't be because my mods were "outdated or broken", because there are numerous outdated mods listed on MTS. Also, unless I'm mistaken, I have seen creators direct folks to their Patreons / websites various times in comments sections, even on mods that aren't theirs.

I'm surprised that whatever rule I broke was so severe that they removed all of my mods but didn't ban me from the website.
Every single mod is gone, including the old BUGFIX for our spines that's only needed by folks who haven't updated, and my All-In-One FOMO Unlock.
Well, there goes my dream of ever getting "AnimXGenWear" on Mod The Sims.
I'll update if I decide to query, but for now, I have work to do while the internet permits.

You are addressing problems that EA won't address. Of course, the game is getting so bloated with problems the fact it even RUNS anymore is a mystery to me. It's people like you who are even willing to address those problems and put a mod out is the only reason I still play this game, as much as EA seems determined to run every one off. As for MTS, I imagine the fact they are becoming irrelevant is what is going on. Half the items in their site seem abandoned by their creators and after 15,000 updates to the game by EA, are pretty useless unless someone like yourself is willing to revamp them, which I see creators doing more often. But I just don't trust a site with as much outdated items. Now if I went to the booty and downloaded it, I know it's old and may not work. IMO, they should move those to a section by themselves if they want to keep them onsite.

I stopped using MTS a LONG time ago. Prefer to go directly to the publishers of mods to stay on top of updates. Screw MTS, is what I say. I know it doesn't mean as much traffic, but your mods ARE unique and needed, so you will have fans follow you because of the quality of your work. Screw em!
The main reason I wanted my mods on MTS is because my MTS account is my oldest Sims-related account. It's 16 years old if I'm not mistaken. I Want To Believeโข nuking all of my mods wasn't retaliation, but if it was, then it is what it is. I'm sure there's a totes valid reason why they did what they did, and it's gonna make all the senses and gon' be totally justified if I ever read it. ๐น My standalone SGFX mods and SGFX patches aren't going anywhere, "My Beautiful Squishy" isn't going anywhere because I don't trust that the OG will be maintained, and I don't delete rants.
