🎁 [BG+] STRO: No Loading Screen Tips (D.I.Y. Friendly) -- [2/19] 🌠 Post overhaul incomplete but mod updated! ⚠️ This update adds missing strings, renames the mod, and adds folders to the archive for mod management!

⚔️ TS4: BASE GAME ⋆🚀 3/11/25 ⋆🌠 2/19/26 ⋆☄️ 2/19/26
🔄 Always compatible [🌐][🐱], but poke me repeatedly if I forget to update it again!

🌍 This is a "POLYGOT" override, meaning it overrides all languages!

⚙️ These are ZIP archives. See "BASIC INSTALL INSTRUCTIONS" for more info.

🆘 You can request assistance or inform me of issues in a new comment on this post, in a new post in the Troubleshooting Community Chat, or via DM (Discord). I don't bite, unless biting is the necessary response.

👹"Apothecary Skill lets you craft more than just Ailment Cures. There're over 20 recipes to learn!" -- Who writes "there're"?! It sounds like "ther-e-er" a.k.a. "derriere" a.k.a. a butt! Don't be a butt, EAxis! Just add a space and spell it out. "There are [...]". See how easy that is? Is just one extra character! You can do it! I believes in you, EAxis!

☆// ⋆ TOTES "SIMPLE" MOD DESCRIPTION:

This removes all Loading Screens tips for all languages currently included in the game.

In case I missed any and you catch it, leave a comment on this post with a few words from the tip, and I will hunt it down and rectify it with extreme prejudice. 😹💀

I'm using an internal EAxis list, so I doubt I'm missing any, but anything is possible.

☆// ⋆ MY MODS ARE USUALLY D.I.Y. FRIENDLY:

There are (18) Deformer Ma- uh, sorry, "String Table" resources contained in this PACKAGE.

Each of these (18) Deforme- doh! STRING TABLES currently contains... a whole lotta String entries. I've lost count, sorry.

In case you're new, the "Deformer Map" jokes are a dig at EAxis for breaking our spines and dragging their feet for (7) MONTHS after I fixed it in (7) DAYS and practically handed them the fix on AnswersHQ.

When they finally fixed it, they managed to break the bodies of Children and younger, and then lickety-split fixed those bodies in a few days after Simmer outcry.

"Why did it take (7) months to fix our spines", you ask? Is because even though it affected all Sims aged Teen and older, the broken spines were only visible on "transframe" Sims.

You don't need to edit every String entry in every String Table to modify this override to your liking. Just do the following:

  • 1️⃣ SELECT and DELETE every String Table EXCEPT the first one.

  • 2️⃣ SELECT the String Table you didn't delete and click on "Edit items..." in the Data panel on the right side.

  • 3️⃣ SELECT the String Entries you want to customize and modify the String Value.

    • I have grouped and identified all String Entries by EP, GP, and SP.

  • 4️⃣ When you've finished, click SAVE on the "Editing Entries..." window.

    • Clicking SAVE closes the window.

  • 5️⃣ Click SAVE on the main Sims 4 Studio window as a precaution.

  • 6️⃣ Navigate to "TOOLS » MODDING" and click on "Copy string tables to all languages".

    • This will create the String Tables for the other (17) languages, then duplicate the String Entries from the first String Table in all of them.

  • 7️⃣ VERIFY that Sims 4 Studio didn't muck up your String Entries by checking the first String Table and the last String Table (or any String Table in between) for your changes.

    • String Table editing and/or "copying" was broken in a couple earlier releases of Sims 4 Studio, so just take the extra minute to verify that it did the job properly.

  • 8️⃣ If all is good, then click SAVE on the main Sims 4 Studio window, and you're done!

Regardless which language your game is in, just follow the steps above and "Copy string tables to all languages" and you'll be fine.

I'll add screenshots for the various steps later™.

☆// ⋆ A MURDER OF STRINGS:

[2/19/26] 🚧 I'll overhaul this section soon to make double-click selecting the String Key easier. For now, I just added in the missing entries for EP19 and EP21.

The following STRINGS are listed in the order they appear in my override.

You can use this list as a guide to "re-enable" any STRING VALUE you want to, by either deleting the STRING KEY from the STRING TABLE or by copypasting the text back into the empty STRING VALUE.

I assume these STRING KEYS are the same across all language variants of the game, but your STRING VALUE will of course be different. You can find your language-specific STRING VALUE in Sims 4 Studio by opening TOOLS » "String Table Lookup" » copypaste the STRING KEY into the filter box » click on the big blue FILTER button » et voila, your STRING VALUE!

Hello! Sorry to ask this, but how do I find and replace these tips with my own? So I tried your advice from the post, but I can't find the strings I need when I search. There are barely any there at all. Is there another way to find the strings I'm looking for, or am I doing something wrong? I really want to replace these strings with my own. I've searched all over the internet for tutorials on this, but I haven't found anything useful except your page Any answer would be appreciated 🙏
