🎀 Community Highlight - Main Menu Overrides ⚡ Added Creator LIJOUE to the list.
I AM NOW MAINTAINING MY OWN MAIN MENU OVERRIDE, with optional "Camera Angles Patches" for the Household thumbnail and my own D.I.Y. template. HOWEVER, my setup is different - my SGFX Override is separate and the D.I.Y. template is a Resource Override. Technically, this is how LunarBritney's is set up, but their SGFX override doesn't hide the Household.
I don't know how to do this yet, and by that I mean I need to dissect the SGFX and learn what modifications are necessary, because I do not like having to rely on anyone for SGFX updates, especially for something like this.
You need only keep the SGFX Override updated and you'll never need to remake your custom Main Menu backgrounds again - at least that's the idea.
I like making things easy for everyone, when I'm not over-complicating it myself. This is how it should have been done. Cheers!

I do not like anything about the new Main Menu.

BE ADVISED, EAxis mucked with the Main Menu in the last update and broke all custom Main Menu overrides. It will likely happen again in the future. Not to mention, the SGFX resource used here is one that's always modified every time the game is updated.
I'll have to make a "Community Highlight" collection if I intend to do this often.

Creating these from the template should be simple - you've just gotta import an image - HOWEVER, Neri's override has a second, different image that shows on the Store tab. I'm not 100% sure why the template doesn't include that second DST Image resource for easy D.I.Y.
If you'd like to do one with two images, duplicate the DST Image resource in the template and change the INSTANCE identifier to "855F9F4C12D139DE" without the quotes. Should work.

There are more creators to add to this list, whenever I find them. This is the problem with Sims 4 modding - we have no central hub.

Has an option to hide the News/Marketing panel permanently (it functions as a patch because it's a different SGFX override) and the HOME/STORE tabs, though I'm not sure you should be hiding tabs permanently since we have Live Events. I don't particularly want to do this anymore, not with my setup, but it's worth investigating if I ever decide to take a crack at the Live Mode Event Button again.

At the time, they were toiling away making Clones of the FOMO items. I don't like seeing my fellow creators "wasting" time doing things they don't need to do, when they could be using that time for anything else they so desire. That's just me. But y'know 🎙️ there ain't no rest for the wicked and money don't grow on trees.

The creator in question still has me blocked on Patreon, and while that doesn't mean that I can't access their Patreon, it does mean that I will not be highlighting any of their stuff, unless it's really groundbreaking.
