it's going to be so funny if or when they release the half-life equivalent of mario maker and hl3 is just them going "okay smart guy, let's see YOU take a crack at it!"
Couldn't the SFM thing be something for Deadlock still, like introductory videos for each hero or whatever like they did with tf2?
No, due to how the difference in how the deadlock models are segmented and rigged.

about the SFM thing- could it be that they've actually added the biped thing to both the main engine and source filmmaker, but its only made its way to us through SFM for now, and it's not that big of a deal? I mean, they could just be working on little cutscenes like the ones in HLA (the Eli call from the beginning of the game was a SFM render, right?)

I’m still trying to play with the tool a little to see if it holds any true value to what I do, but that’s only because I spent the money for one month, and I’m wanting to get my moneys worth out of that month. After it is up, I’m not rebuying. It’s not worth it, and it doesn’t really do that great of a job. At best, it can find 60% of what I can find doing it by hand, and even then, only about 72% of what it claims to find is even real.
