Hey babe, 🤍

So I’ve been on a matcha kick lately—like, the kind where you suddenly believe you’re an expert in all things green tea. And, naturally, that led me to making this set. Because, if I’m going to be obsessed, I’m bringing you with me.

Let’s talk Sippin’ Matcha. This set is all about the cozy, pastel, effortlessly vibe—think matcha lattes, pink and purple hues, and a little bit of that ✨ aesthetic ✨ magic.

What You’re Getting:

CAS Backgrounds (5)

For when you need your Sims’ world to match your vibe.

Taro Swirl Matcha – for when you’re feeling soft but make it trendy
Blue Pea Matcha – moody, cool, and a little different (in the best way)
Wild Strawberry Matcha – sweet, fun, and gives that whole “I just left my fav coffee shop” energy
House Matcha – classic, clean, and minimal in the best way
Foamy Matcha – think soft, creamy matcha with the perfect latte swirl

Entry Screens (5)

Because the first thing you see should be cute. Huge shoutout to Ellesimsworld for her tutorial on making these seamless! If you haven’t already, I highly recommend downloading the No Intro Mod for a smooth experience.

Loading Screens (5)

The same cozy, matcha-drenched aesthetic, but for that little moment of peace while your game loads. Designs are inspired by PainterlyGal on Etsy—her work is chef’s kiss.

Matcha Plumbobs (4) (because of course)

Classic Matcha (#89864c) – the OG, earthy and rich
Matcha Latte (#a2b073) – creamy, dreamy, and just right
Steamed Milk (#f8f0e2) – light, airy, and perfectly frothy
Whipped Matcha (#d1c96f) – fluffy, whipped, and effortlessly smooth

Quick credits & thank you’s!

The entry and loading screens feature designs by PainterlyGal on Etsy, who makes the cutest patterns.
Huge thanks to Vyxated for the mirror mesh that makes the CAS backgrounds pop.
And of course, thanks to you for all the love and support! If you run into any issues, feel free to reach out.

Now go sip your matcha (or coffee, I won’t judge) and enjoy.

At your best,
— Ashley aka Simbeautyguru

This was suggested to me over on tumblr and because of it, I feel quite inspired to create my own version of a pink UI! Semi-inspired by the pink UI mod for Sims 2 & Sims 3, with a TS2/TS3 flair on it as this is technically a recolor my TS2 UI mod :]

Now available for everyone with/without an account! Thanks everyone for using my UI mods 🖤 I still recommend keeping your membership to get notified whenever there's a new post or a mod is updated :-) any support is greatly appreciated!

🔗 Guide to UI Mod Glitches 🔗 Installing and Troubleshooting Tips

📥 Installation

// Main mod

Before installing/updating, remove any old versions of the Pastel UI whenever there's a new mod update and clear your caches.
- Alternatively, keep the CONFIG folder and read the Changelog on which files have been removed/changed, and delete & replace the "Text" and "Texture" folders to avoid redoing the config.
Download & extract the zip file into your Mods folder.
Important ⚠️ >> In the "CONFIG" folder, and go to each folder(s) and delete files that may conflict with other mods (or else you'll encounter texture issues). Check the Compatibility info below to see which mods are affected.

// Extras

Main Menu Override
[Pastel Pink UI] Loading screen: download only one loading screen file. Available in: 16:9 and 16:10 aspect ratio. Available in 2 versions.
[Pastel Pink UI] Splash screen: file to replace the intro TS4 screen. Choose the file that pertains to your game language.
[Pastel Pink UI] Phone icon Addons: pick & choose depending on which mod you use. Also includes EA icon overrides.

🖥️ Mod-related Info

// Recommended mods to complete the Pink UI look:

any of my CAS Background overrides in pastel pink recolor
CAS organizers in pastel pink
buildbuy gizmo override in soft pink
wall tool override in soft pink
highlight/outline override in pink
pink cursor override

// Compatibility with other mods ⚠️ (please read)

Conflicts with other UI Recolor mods by Dskecht and mine
- You can however mix & match my UI mods if you want to have different colors for different menus. For example: if you want to have a pink CAS but a blue Build/Buy, delete the "BB" texture files from this mod and replace it w/ the "BB" texture files from my Pastel Blue UI mod.
Wrench Icon mods
- Delete "Wrench Icons" folder if you want to use other wrench icons.
Phone icon override
- Delete file if you want to use other phone icons.

UI Mods not listed above are compatible with this UI mod. Make sure they are updated too so you don't encounter any texture bugs.

Repositioned various UI elements: the catalog title is now correctly centered, the randomization button is now shifted to the rightmost, the filter bar's width is increased to fit the expanded columns, and other Create-A-Pet related changes.

Description

This mod increases the number of columns of the catalog panel in CAS. Three flavors of the mod are available: 3 columns, 4 columns, and 5 columns.

Warning

If your game's resolution is too low, it might not have enough space for all columns to show. The 3 column flavor is not recommended if your resolution is lower than 1280x720. The 4 column flavor is not recommended if your resolution is lower than 1600x900. The 5 column flavor is not recommended if your resolution is lower than 1920x1080.

Please note that if you have Cats & Dogs, an even higher resolution is required for all columns to be shown in Create A Pet.

With the 1.58.63 game update, you can now adjust the UI scale via the options menu. A smaller UI size will allow more columns to be shown at the same resolution.

Compatibility

v1.38 is built with game version 1.126.58 and it will not work for older versions of the game.

If you play Legacy Edition, download the version here.

Video about this update: tiktok / youtube / insta !

I made a tiktok account because on YouTube the maximum size of a short video is 60 seconds, but I didn't know about it and made a larger video. Now this vertical video is displayed as a full-fledged video and it looks very strange, ha-ha. But I decided not to delete it and leave it for those who are comfortable watching on YouTube.

📑[CAS TUNING BASE] CONTROLLED POSITION MOD V2.2

The main code has been updated;
Improved CAS for children and toddlers:

No more automatic position change when choosing CC or its swatches;
The rotation arrows are disabled, but you can rotate your character using the mouse and other available ways;
It works for mac too!

✅ INSTALLATION INSTRUCTION

Just put the file directly in the "mods" folder;
Do not change the name and do not put the file in subfolders;
HANDS CLOSE UP POSITIONS required.

⛔ KNOWN CONFLICTS:

CAS Gender Breast Option & Pregnancy Both by Maars;
CAS Randomization by Chingyu and any other mod which performs the same function (as far as I know, there are several similar mods from different authors).

📑[CAS TUNING ADD-ON] HANDS CLOSE UP POSITIONS

New poses for the fingernails section (individual pose for all ages), you can watch all of It in the video 👀!

✅ INSTALLATION INSTRUCTION

CONTROLLED POSITION MOD V2.0 required;
Just put the file directly in the "mods" folder;
Do not change the name and do not put the file in subfolders.

📑 [CAS TUNING ADD-ON] STAND STILL CONSTRUCTOR

I constantly get a lot of messages that someone is unable to combine my mod and "stand still" mods from other authors. In fact, I do not even know what the problem might be, since I myself have used mods from other authors up to this point... So I decided to make my own version specifically for this mod so that everything works for everyone, ha-ha.

You can still combine the main mod with "stand still" and "close up stand still" mods from other authors if you want. I recommend using my version so that everything works correctly.

📑 CLASSIC "STAND STILL" and "STAND STILL CLOSE UP" IN CAS FOR ALL

📑SPECIAL T-A FEMALE STAND STILL POSE N1 and N2

📑SPECIAL T-A MALE STAND STILL POSE N1 and N2

📑SPECIAL CHILD STAND STILL POSE N1

📑SPECIAL TODDLERS STAND STILL POSE N1

📑SPECIAL INFANTS STAND STILL POSE N1

✅ INSTALLATION INSTRUCTION

CONTROLLED POSITION MOD V2.0 and HANDS CLOSE UP POSITIONS required;
You are downloading an archive with 9 folders. You only need to select one file from each folder (there are previews in each folder to make it easier to navigate). If there is only one file in the folder, it means that at the moment there is no longer an option to choose a pose. I will make more options in the future. NO OCCULT FORM CHANGE ANIMATION and CLOSE UP STAND STILL are not required for installation and are installed optionally. From all other folders you MUST select one file.
Put selected files directly in the "mods" folder;
Do not change the name and do not put the file in subfolders.

⛔ KNOWN CONFLICTS:

any other "stand still" mods.

❓ ANSWERS TO THE MOST COMMON QUESTIONS

«Does the mod work with other "stand still" mods?» Yes, it works. You need to put all the files in main folder.
«The mod does not work at all». There is a conflicting mod in your folder. A small list of conflicting mods is listed in the description of the mod. As a rule, all of it is associated with a change in the "randomization" of sims.
«The main part of the mod is working, but I can't see the nails (the camera is somewhere below)». You need to delete the old version of the mod. If you don't have it, then there is a conflicting mod in your folder. A small list of conflicting mods is listed in the description of the mod. As a rule, all of it is associated with a change in the "randomization" of sims.
«The main part of the mod is working, but the hand pose doesn't work». Most likely, there is some kind of another "stand still" mod in your folder. If you want to use the mod together with another "stand still" mod, make sure that you followed all the installation instructions.
«Does it work for occult sims?» Yes, main mod and classic stand still works for occult sims.
«The game doesn’t launch with the mod or says the files are broken». I advise you to try downloading again, because sometimes files break when downloading due to an unstable Internet connection or during use on your hard drive. Don't forget to delete the old files before doing so. Also some archiving programs can corrupt files during the extraction process. I recommend using the built-in Windows OS archiver, or you can use the alternative link provided in the post and download the required files one by one.

🔧 CHANGELOG

[05/05/2024] Now "poses for the fingernails section" is placed in a separate file (it turned out that Sims Studio breaks these files when merging with each other and causes an error in the operation of the game sliders);
[25/05/2024] Some improvements have been made to CONTROLLED POSITION MOD V2.0 and CLASSIC CLOSE UP STAND STILL IN CAS.
[24/07/2024] Updated for game version 1.108.318 (Lovestruck patch).
[28/07/2024] Updated for game version 1.108.335 (after Lovestruck patch).
[31/07/2024] A new mac-compatible file installation method has been added to stand still poses.
[24/10/2024] Updated for game version 1.110.265.1030. The "STAND STILL CONSTRUCTOR" has been completely updated. "NO OCCULT FORM CHANGE ANIMATION" option has been added. Stand still pose for teeth has been added to "CLOSE UP STAND STILL". The smoothness of animations has been updated.
[13/07/2025] Updated for game version 1.116.223.1030. All files have been updated for fairies!
[14/07/2025] Updated again. If you have a problem with unzipping the archive, then use an alternative link!

there are so many creators out there who make such beautiful cc skintones, but i’ve wanted to make my own so i gave it a try! this took me 2 months because i had zero idea and had to take multiple breaks from the frustration ;-; i was wrapping them up when ea announced they were fixing their skintones but people still wanted them dfkjghf anyway, here they are! if there are any inconsistencies with the swatches, just know that i tried my best (｡╯︵╰｡)

nondefault skintones (does not replace ea skintones)
4 undertones: neutral, cool, warm, olive
25 swatches per undertone, 100 swatches total
has normal / tanned / burned states
enabled for aliens, vampires, mermaids, spellcasters
2 versions: per undertone & genetic (09.23.2020)

important details:

order of the swatches in-game: cool > neutral > warm > olive
wickedwhims compatible! thank you so much @fiona-john (tumblr) for informing me!
someone brought up before how unfair it was that the darker ea skintones has a much lower makeup opacity than the lighter skintones. i tried bumping the opacity up for every skintone to the max, but it was too vibrant and does not work very well. each skintone has been adjusted accordingly! feel free to change it using Cmar’s ts4 skininator!
tanned and burned states were created using Cmar’s ts4 skin converter! if there are any issues, please message me!
added a slight tint to the lips! used @pyxiidis‘s stuck on you skintone #12 as base for the skintones since it had a lip color that i really liked

UPDATE (09.23.2020):

2 versions: per undertone / genetic (you can’t put in both)

per undertone — the current arrangement. doesn’t work accurately in terms of genetics! choose this if you just want a more ‘organized’ arrangement!
genetic — will be merged with ea skintones and is accurate in terms of genetics (offsprings can have an ea skintone)! unfortunately, offsprings can also have a random undertone. choose this if genetics are a priority for you! (will have “[genetic]” in the filename!

UPDATE (12.09.2020):

fix for the december skintone update

bare skintones will now appear on the new skintone menu!
olive swatches will be found in the neutral section (along with the neutral)!

UPDATE (01.05.2021):

fixed the sorting order of genetic version! the order of the ea swatches are frustratingly inconsistent, so I tried my best!
skintone slider now working!
disabled on aliens (requested)
NEW: pale skintone options — first swatches of all categories in both genetic & per undertone version will have a longer slider range to the right to achieve lighter shades

i recommend reading the details above before downloading, thank you!

i’m always looking to diversify my sims and i find skin details like these, these and these add so much to a face. i can personally never have enough of them, so i drew some details myself too. these are things that either don’t exist as (mm) skin details yet or are my own take on existing details.

I've been meaning to revamp my dusk hair for a while, I loved her at the time but my skills have improved since then so I wanted to make a part 2. It's not exactly the same but after hours is the more elevated sis. Enjoy!

19.03.2023 UPDATE:

This hair is also now available for infants too! <3

-----

Like most of you probably know, I totally love buzzcuts, and I especially use one basegame hair really often, so I needed it in a ton more colors. So here is this recolor, it comes in a lot of bleached + neon shades, but also some toned down naturals and pitch black ones. Here I am sharing it, for everyone who might find this pack useful, too.

Maxis-match, 70 colors, comes with and without HQ options, pics taken with it. Female + male, toddler-elder. Of course also basegame-compatible.

Hope you like it!~ ♥
