I loathe the new Main Menu, but simmers who use custom poses for whatchamacallit may love it. I mean no disrespect, I just don't really use poses. I might make a few in the future if I decide to branch off in that direction.
COMPATIBILITY WARNING:
Elements of the UI have changed, which means all third-party mods that modify SGFX resources are potentially broken, including mine.

⋆⋅ HIGHLIGHTS FROM THE UPDATE NOTES:
[AHQ] Fullscreen Minimization Fix - We resolved an issue where you couldn’t minimize the game in Fullscreen mode using DirectX 11. Now, key combinations like Alt + Tab and the Windows key will work as expected.
[AHQ] Outgoing and Socially Awkward traits cannot be selected together. If one is selected, the other will appear greyed out and cannot be chosen.
[AHQ] Female frame facial hair on Male Sims will no longer disappear.
[AHQ] Sims’ weight and muscle levels are now properly affected by Bike Riding, Horse Riding, Jog here and Rock Climbing.
⋆⋅ MY PERSONAL REPORT:
ANIMATION STATE MACHINE - FOUR (4) new ASM resources for the Blast From the Past "Surprise Cake", and the ASM that controls CAS has been modified. All other (3,323) ASM resources are identical to Update 12/3/2024, which means AnimXGenWear needs no compatibility updates, huzzah!
SCALE FORM GFX - As usual, all (227-1) SGFX resources have been modified except the one for fonts. I have never seen an update where all SGFX resources weren't modified. This controls the UI and various other things and this is why any third-party mod that changes the UI or adds new UI stuff can break with every update.
FOMO UNLOCKS - EAxis continues to muck around with the resources that lock rewards for past events. Should any of them stop working for you, do let me know. I might give the older ones a "Scorched Earth" update to future-proof them.
TUNING COMMENTS - EAxis is making a giant !@#$ing mess of these things. Some are getting fixed and even more are getting "updated" with the wrong comment info. FOUR-HUNDRED AND EIGHTY-NINE (489) Trait Tuning resources have just been !@#$ed! It's a good thing these comments don't impact the game. What the !@#$?! I Want to Believe™ this is an automated tool they're using. Y'know what makes this an issue? It's unnecessary patch data. There are so many damn resources that have been modified with just wrong comment info - absolutely nothing else is changed other than the comment info, and it's wrong! This is a waste of bandwidth and time to download. What the hell is going on here?

⋆⋅ "AUTOMATIC OUTFIT SWITCHING" A.K.A. THE "UNDERWEAR BUG" IS STILL BROKEN:
This was broken with Update 10/22/2024 and still has not been fixed.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't nail polish get removed when bathing?
This is why I say it's not just underwear. Even though I can't tell you what exactly is broken, I "know" it's something more important that just underwear, and it ain't CAS or game saving and loading either.
The bug only triggers after the game automatically changes a sim's outfit (possibly any sim's outfit), which is why no matter how much you reset your "Bathing" outfit, the underwear just keeps coming back. It's literally breaking over and over and over, ad infinitum, and EAxis doesn't see this as a priority?
Alt+Tab is more important than this?
A new Main Menu is more important than this?
Free content and a new FOMO Live Event is more !@#$ing important THAN THIS?!
We don't even know if this is affecting saved games permanently, because we don't even know what exactly is broken! We're only seeing the consequences of it, but we know it's saving to saved games AFTER triggering, because I've done the !@#$ing troubleshooting!

It's the "25-Year Anniversary" update. I'm just being an arse... but seriously though, do you really want EAxis touching The Sims 3? 😹
Apparently it's the Sims' franchise's something anniversary, or some nonsense.
It's probably legit, but it might also be a trap.
EAxis thinks they're smart. They think I'm gonna fall for that and update my game so they can break it! I'M WISE TO YOUR INCOMPETENCE, EAXIS! IT'S NEVER GOING TO HAPPEN! 💀
I'm just saying. Look at the state of The Sims 4.
Do you really want EAxis touching The Sims 3? 😹
