Dev Update - 2026/04/24

Hey everyone,

I finished Kaija's scene early this week, and after the PCs caught up with rendering everything, I threw together the next test build.
It's one of the biggest test builds I've ever had, so running some tests on it took some time, too.
Luckily, my highly valued (read: unpaid) testers already hopped on some tests too and were able to find a few bugs I missed.

All that took the most time this week, which kinda "explains" the lower render count.
I started writing the next scene a few days ago and started setting up renders for it yesterday.

That scene will probably keep me busy for the next two weeks, but once it is done, I can move on to the Chapter endings for the non-Álfheimr part.
How long that will take highly depends on how deeply I want to dive into Cascadeur for those scenes.

Outside that, not a lot of news this week, which also means "no bad news." ;-)

The numbers for this week:
51 new static renders for a total of 1344
0 new animations, total 37
434 new lines in the script files for a total of 3999
