Game Objects and Scripts
I have upgraded the old Clock tutorial! It is now known as Game Objects and Scripts. This is part of my overall upgrade process for the older tutorials. I put that on hold until Unity 2017 was firmly established.
You already know all the stuff it covers, right? Still, you could give it a look to see what has changed. It will also contain a link to the old tutorial for a while, so you can compare them if you like.

I'm more or less a beginner programmer but I'm able to work through the tutorials if I do them slowly. Just went through the mesh series and it's been massively rewarding! No need to dumb anything down imo.
Good to hear!
Hey Jasper. I'm really looking forward to you updating your old tutorials. I'm a beginner programmer so like Richard said above I haven't been able to follow your recent stuff. I really hope you can get to your games like the runner and tube racing thing. Thanks for the awesome work.
More upgrades are coming! Do let me know if you get stuck somewhere.
The original clock tutorial was the first meaningful thing i did in unity, it was a massive help.
It's kind-of a classic at this point. I hope its upgrade will help many more people for a long time.
THANK YOU!!! It has been hard for me to follow recent tutorials, especially the rendering series. There are a lot of basic skills in Clock for which I need a refresh! I will crawl thru the new Clock paragraph by paragraph! PS - still remember the particle viz tutorial. Can you bump it higher on your upgrade list?
You're welcome! The Graphs tutorial is very old and not on my upgrade list. I might make a spiritual successor at some point, though.
