MineFortress Website Overhaul: New Domain, Easier Downloads, and Streamlined Rewards!
Hey everyone,
I brought some intresting news for you! Last weeks I've been totally into rebuilding the MineFortress website. It took me like, a month and a half, but it's finally done, and I'm pretty stoked about it (even if I'm a little sleep-deprived!).
The old site? It was... fine. It worked, you know? But it had been around for a couple of years, and honestly, it was starting to feel a bit clunky. Plus, I had some ideas to make things way better.
What I Did (Besides Drink a Lot of Coffee):
Basically, I tore the whole thing down and started over. Two main things I wanted to fix:
Downloads: Way Easier Now: Finding the download links used to be like playing Where's Waldo. Now? Boom. Big buttons, right on the homepage. You can grab MineFortress from Modrinth or CurseForge – super simple.
Focusing on support: You guys are awesome. Seriously. Your support is what keeps me anmd the project going, and I wanted to make sure that was clear on the site. So, I made it easier to see how donations help, and ask more and more times to support the project. Every little bit helps me keep making MineFortress better.
I have now also plans to invest more time and money in advertising the project to bring more attention to it.
Oh, and We Moved! (The Website, I Mean):
We're at a new address! It's minefortress.net now (used to be minecraftfortress.org). Finally we actually have MineFortress in the domain and not MinecraftFortress. Just a heads-up so you don't get lost.
Rewards: All in One Place (Also Finally!)
This is probably the part I'm most excited about. I finally got all the supporter rewards stuff sorted out.
Early Builds: Yep, they're right on the main site now. No more jumping around.
Perks: Managing your multiplayer access, your in-game pawn name, all that stuff? It's all in the /rewards section. Super organized, super easy.
Now you do not need to strugle to get you well deserver rewards!
Why I Did All This:
Honestly? I wanted a website that felt as good as the mod itself. And I really wanted to make things easier for all of you, especially the people who support MineFortress. You deserve it!
Go Check It Out!
Seriously, go take a look around! minefortress.net is the place to be. Download the latest version, see what's new, and let me know what you think. I'm really hoping you like the changes.
Later,
Remmintan
