This makes Hyuna and Mizi's actions during karma make much more sense. Hyuna wanted her rocket to reach out to the whole of humanity even if it meant sacrificing the contestants, while Mizi wanted to save her friends and the rebels attending the mission, but got convinced to follow Hyuna's plan. Which makes Mizi's crashout in Karma after Weige very understandable. For the plan to succeed, she had to sacrifice Ivan and Till. And she did. She focused on the rocket instead of saving them from round 6, even if it must have hurt her badly to do so. But then Hyuna sacrifices herself to save Luka, contradicting her motto of 'sacrifice a few to save the many' that she had Mizi follow. We know Luka mimicked Sua and Ivan and hurt both Mizi and Till deeply (and at the time she thought Luka killed Till), so seeing Hyuna deviate from her own plan and losing her own life to save a contestant (Luka) that had hurt Mizi and all her friends, while Mizi following Hyuna's plan caused her to lose Ivan and then Till on the same day, all resulted in Mizi losing her mind. In that sense, I think Mizi punching Luka and crashing the rocket wasn't just revenge on Seigwen. I think it was revenge on Hyuna and Luka too. Luka hurt her by killing Till and mimicking Sua and Ivan. Hyuna hurt her by causing her to sacrifice Ivan and Till for the rocket plan to work, only to abandon her own plan and sacrifice her own life by saving Luka herself. By punching Luka, whom Hyuna saved, she was getting revenge for what he had done to her and her family, and for Hyuna's death. and by blowing up the rocket and ruining the plan, she gets her revenge on the Seigwen and Hyuna - Seigwen for causing the whole thing in the first place, Hyuna and the rebels for making her sacrifice Ivan and Till, and for Hyuna's hypocrisy in succeeding at saving the person she loved at the cost of herself. And at herself too, for playing the fool not just once (pretending she didn't know Sua was going to sacrifice herself), but for following Hyuna's plan and letting the remainder of her family (Ivan and Till) to die. Mizi was fully prepared to die on that stage with Till's body until she realised that he was breathing. It was only after that when she got herself out into the desert, but the self loathing of not being able to save two out of three of her family, not being able to save Sua, remained. And maybe that she made things more difficult for the rest of the rebellion and that she could no longer stick with Till, who's the last remaining family member, due to well. Blowing up the rocket plan. Mizi loved her Sua, Till and Ivan so deeply that losing them, losing Sua, made her decide to kill herself after she lost all of them. It was only the realisation of Till being alive that caused her to save herself. It really was a pure, deep childhood love. I think Isaac understands this. He was there for the argument. That alongside his kind nature that came from years of nurturing kids, might have been why he took Till in, and why he doesn't seem as mad at Mizi as he could have been - we know from past comics he had a brother who died, so its possible that he could relate to Mizi's loss.

I understand it better. Thank you. Everything about this project makes me feel so ecstatic. It's amazing. There used to be a time I also made myself so desensitized. Being able to feel this pain sorrounding this characters I love. When I began Alien Stage, I was deep inside the rabbit hole. And now, after these years I feel like I'm a little higher. Relating to their pain, relating to their love and loneliness. Relating to their faith. Helps me understand myself and others. And I feel connected to the world. But I still hope for it to have a better ending. Because I've realized, a message of pain, while it can comfort, it doesn't guide. I just hope the decision you make is best for what you intended
I know this won't be read. But my heart has become so important to me the past month. I want to speak up. Because my heart is my most valuable piece. Even though I've never looked at it properly, now, being closer to seeing it without hiding... I'm so happy. Seeing what's important. Seeing why light is the only answer. I hope those who enjoy Alien Stage for comfort can also get to see the light one day. It's all in your mind, your heart will only follow 💕❤️🩹

Today my brother in law passed away we rushed to the seen and all that was left was his dead body it was truly a horrible shock and I'm experiencing a pain I've never felt before, seeing him laying there so lifeless was surreal, this week I've been obsessive over Ivan's death but now I truly understand why vivinos would write a story like this, it's realistic and seeing mizi now I can't help but relate sm I don't really talk about my feelings and seek comfort from others so I'm bottling all the pain inside I'm just writing this to say that I'm sorry for not really understanding why a story will be this sad Ik vivinos went through a hard time in her 20s where she couldn't relate to anything 💔 Seeing these characters feel and experience similar feelings makes me feel less alone thanks for writing this

my god, the irony of Isaac criticizing Mizi’s selfish love and decisions, only for Dewey to say they’d be screwed without Till who Mizi wanted to save… and Isaac doesn’t even realize that part or chooses to ignore it it seems. juicy (yes Mizi is the reason for the current situation in the first place but its because of her they still have Till)
I don't think he is criticizing it, he understands it quite well. Rather, Mizi is a selfless person when you think about her relationships/dynamics on a microscale, but the reality is that for humans to be free in a universe like Alien Stage, thinking and feeling needs to be done on the macroscale. Unfortunately, individuals and microscale elements get lost in that process, and vice versa if you choose to focus on the microscale instead of the macroscale. While characters might see Mizi as selfish and cruel because she was focusing on the people exclusive to her life and the people she was close to (because that was her experience), we see she is selfless in taking on the burden for others, wanting her friends to live, and suffering from survivor's guilt to an extreme degree. To Mizi, their world view is selfish and cruel because not everyone is saved in the process and many individuals are lost. She thinks idealistically, and based on immediate solutions rather than thinking about what taking that action might mean for ALL of humanity and the long-term. Both were right and wrong in their own ways, I think that is the beauty of it :>!

i always thought the emotions of everyone on alien stage were raw and unfiltered- so seeing isaac tell us mizi’s feelings were “pure, but unlearned, childhood love” really goes to show how volatile human emotions can be if not given a place to be understood in a better environment

Guys it's confirmed that the robot guards are humans! Now here comes my theory. What if they are contestants from the former Alien Stage seasons and like the Segyein choose the contestants based on their stamina, strength and such. We know that the segyein shoot the contestants necks to kill them so what if they shoot the contestants that they choose to be robot guards in non fatal places so that they don't die. Now between the contestants of the 50th season Ivan is the only one that's not shot in the neck. I know the shots could have been warning shots but what if they actually chose Ivan to be a robot guard because physically he is the most well build and that's why they didn't shoot his neck to keep him alive and now seven years later Ivan doesn't remember his past while working as a robot guard and then Till tries to infiltrate the building. And then Ivan and Till fight and Till sees that it's Ivan so he kidnaps Ivan to the place of the rebels.

It was so evil including Ivan in the flashback, I wasn't prepared. The way Mizi literally spoke for all of us regarding the mission is incredible. Ever since R6 I was so confused as to why Hyuna didn't stop the events from occurring and it was because the rocket was meant to be the main attraction...not saving humans, at least not directly. It was a peaceful approach to provoke a riot against aliens...but Mizi's crasout is still valid, however. A good amount of the rebels would've died had they followed her plan.

omg, this comic just cleared so many questions from Karma. Hyuna's plan of saving the children from Anakt Garden required them to finish the final round of Alien Stage. However as Mizi wanted revenge disliked the idea of salvation of the children in Anakt Garden, she wanted vengeance against the Segyeins who has robbed her of her many love ones. Hyuna had a perception of selfless love and wanted peace and a better future for the children in Anakt Garden which was shown by how she continued Jacob's ideology and conceptualized the plan for the rocket to land on the New Earth. Mizi on the other hand was angry, she didn't want salvation, she wanted to retaliate the same way Segyeins has taken from her, her love ones. That's why she executed the rocket to land on the Alien Stage, she wanted all of the aliens to suffer like what they did to her. (Mizi wanted Hyuna to take revenge on the Segyeins so as to prevent Alien Stage from happening, prevent the deaths of her friends, that's why she didn't agree with Hyuna with the salvation of Anakt Garden, she wanted Hyuna to fight back.
Actually Mizi is a lot like us. When someone done something wrong to us, we want the same thing done back to them. Growing up, we often have many people telling us to forgive and forget but deep down we always wanted karma back on the person who has hurt us, traumatized us. I think these was the concept of Karma from the music video. That's why I think Mizi questioned Hyuna's plan, was it truly worth it, to be so selfless for others and sacrifice your own happiness, all for the greater good?

Gosh...peaceful protest or violent rebellion? That's a question many ask themselves when talking about the freedom of the people. Can marching in the streets chanting slogans be more useful than attacking those who oppress us? Can we overthrow society by letting them kill us while we scream or should we sacrifice ourselves by fighting for our freedom? Hyuna and Mizi had very different views about the rebellion
In my opinion it’s less a matter of peaceful protesting vs violent insurgency. Hyuna wanted to make a statement and stood as a symbol of freedom for humans, whereas Mizi chose to kamikaze everything. Yes, a lot of it to avenge her dead friends, but it wasn’t really to liberate humanity. She couldn’t bear the idea that her loved ones had died violent deaths all in the pursuit of empowering a doomed species while the oppressors simply move on in life. In her eyes maybe it was kinder to bring the whole stadium down on the human children who were either destined to be cattle forever or die trying to escape. But regardless, none of them deserved to live in a world her friends were taken from.

I think Mizi’s breakdown makes a lot of sense and I really appreciate where Vivinos took her character, despite me finding the whole “oppressed person decides that everyone is bad including other oppressed people and goes full scorched earth” angle to be gauche in other media. Because Mizi was so broken by what happened she no longer had the strength to continue to resist. For Hyuna, the whole purpose was to send a message to empower humans. And to Mizi there was no point in that hope. Humanity was barren always soil. But doomerism is not the point of Alien Stage. Almost nothing was changed in the end, but here once stood people who put their roots down just once. They let the love in. And it changed everything.
