Hard to Ignore WIP
Simulations definitely took longer than expected. I always seem to underestimate them. Then again, it’s only the fluid sim giving me trouble, since what I’m trying to achieve is turning out to be rather difficult. I did learn a lot tho, like being able to simulate other things such as earrings and necklaces the same way I do breasts, which is convenient because I can handle it all in one place.
I didn’t get to do the lighting in time due to the simulations and the faces here are only roughly/barely animated. I usually animate them after I receive the voice files from the VAs, which is much simpler than trying to go for a voice dub to an already animated face. That approach can work of course, but it kinda doesn’t feel as authentic to me. I'm always iffy about sharing WIPs because I think they look rough and still need fine tuning that I usually do later, but I need to work on changing that outlook.
At least the hard work is done, or it should be once I get the fluids for the final shot actually working. It’s definitely a tedious process, tweak settings, wait 30 minutes for the bake to finish, tweak again, wait another 30 minutes and rinse and repeat. So, fun stuff lol...
