The Beast (1988) is an interesting counter part to pt 3. they share a couple of the locations, like the cave, but take advantage of them quite differently. It's kinda got a neat gimmick in that the play write did a bit of war tourism before he wrote it. might be something interesting if you ever do a Afghanistan themed set of movies. they also got proper t series tanks for it, albeit with a lot of Israeli updates.
