S4E15.5: On Her Majesty's Secret Service with No Notes
This never happened to the other fella. A confluence of factors prevented our brave hosts from discussing A Serious Man, so instead, we have taken it upon ourselves to sit in a circle in a smoke-filled room and desperately try to remember a pretty unmemorable movie that we watched 4 years ago.
Something about Vaccines? I think???

Hey, Devon here. As you well know I've been working with a few gazan families to raise money for their daily living costs in the genocide. Thanks to your incredible generosity, we've been able to raise the money to register Ahmed and his family for evacuation from Gaza. I truly, truly cannot thank you enough. I hope the wait is short and I'm able to tell you that he's safe in Egypt very soon.
Here are three more campaigns from trusted sources. Each of these are for a family that need your help. If you're able to help them out at all, it would mean the world.

I‘m afraid it truly is „U-lu-ru“ not „u-LU-ru“ and it‘s more of an û sound like in „book“
The Omeeeeeeeeegaverse Bond starring Daniel Craig
Bulldog Drummond has been mentioned several times now but you STILL haven't done Bullshot Crummond. Y'all would have a ball.
hahahahahahahaha this was extremely incoherent and I loved every second of it
Nobody responded but EYE appreciated "omegaverse James Bond, is that anything?", Abi
listen, if killing ONE single woman from each of these nations decreases the quality of pussy worldwide by a whole letter grade, then those women were carrying and the quality of this or that country's pussy was artificially inflated
the ONLY thing i remember from this movie is the one second blink-and-you'll-miss-it shot of the food that the UN is allergic to and that the food was weirdly racist? east asian woman is allergic to rice, jamaican woman is allergic to bananas, english woman is allergic to plain roast chicken, i think the irish woman was allergic to potatos?? when we watched it years ago my gf noticed this and paused the movie to point it out, so this was the only bit i remembered.
This episode made me realise I never listened to the original, and honestly the experience was bewildering. 10/10, never change
Good luck finishing your dissertation November!
The Post-electric Play effect is becoming real, as you were talking I could remember bits from the previous podcast, but nothing of the movie. Ended up tapping out right before Devon read the wikipedia summary because honestly, it’s funnier that way
4 years ago?!? fuck i was still boymoding and hiding being a system then These are some of my favorite episodes. Rare enough for it to be a treat and absolutely batshit for the constant laughter
This was highly enjoyable. You remembered far more about this movie than me. I remembered that Julie Ege is one of the Angels of Death (wears a sávká, a hat traditionally worn by Sami men), but that's entirely because she has street named after her in my hometown.
I think this format requires one random participant to have an IMDB summery or like the transcript of the movie present cas like some of these movies they're gonna skip straight to the final scene by accident
Yeah but that's what makes it hilarious
Would legit love to read Nova's dissertation. Discussion episode on the pod would also be amazing.
It's always crazy to be reminded that the French Connection was a real thing and a bunch of Corsican dudes controlled the world heroin market for a couple decades there. Turns out that being simultaneously French and Italian makes you great at crime, I guess!
Pouring one out for the UN of P.
I thoroughly enjoyed this episode. No need to apologise for it!
I am also shooting from the hip here, but I think Abigail was conflating the other bond stealing a grape with Lazenby bond stealing the playboy centerfold from the lawyers office swiss Sharkey helped him crack a safe in but with the exact same smug "ain't I a stinker" smirk on his face
food house mention !!!!
No but I both love this as content, and think it genuinely says something valuable about actual spy shit — this sounds exactly like how intelligence tales get half-remembered but still spun on throughout the years, because you know there is some kind of important memory of an important event to recall here. Piecing together sound clips & little notes out of context. Who was working for who, again? Were these things and people actually connected, or actually part of completely different missions? Who is this Swiss Sharkie character, and why does his shadow loom so large over this even though there’s no official record of this cunt anywhere? 🕵🏻♀️
21:20 DORLEY HALL SHOUTOUT WOOOOO!!!!!
28:50 this is indeed good content. It's so much fun when you excitedly remember something, like the sheer triumph over remembering Irma Bunt's name.
New group chat name: UN Security Council of Pussy.
I consent I consent I consent I consent I don't! Isn't there someone you forgot to ask?
Real dogshit job on this one, fam. Great work.
Not only do I want to read Nova's thesis, I would also happily listen to her discuss it on Trashfuture
Dragon King of Arms-reference! 😍😍😍
It had a kidney transplant 8 days ago and I would HIGHLY recommend listening to this on strong painkillers. I have no idea what happened but I definitely enjoyed it
You kept talking about ‘Swiss sharkie’ and I could only picture that as some sort of shark toy that bond was carrying around which really enhances the experience
They made a short lived Kojak reboot with Ving Rhames The cover was allergies, which means everyone getting their own national dish that they were allergic to in front of them. Like, the one African woman just having a big plate of bananas in front of her. It's silly that I'm finding it sort of infuriating that they don't perfectly remember everything, but the entire draw of these episodes are that they don't remember anything. And if they did, it wouldn't be these episodes.
Dorley and Ranked Competitive Breast Growth both being mentioned. truely we need more egg movies
Six minutes in and I'm already seeing the contours of the inevitable Moonpussy episode.
I imagine what I felt hearing Dev finally pronounce Uluru correctly only to imply that was their mispronounciation is also how sports spectators feel when their team fumbles the ball
We'll get em next time
ohmss-girlnoises.wav is going to be my new username somewhere.
hahahaha scrolled over this comment at the exact moment that Nova read this out
rejoined for it, courtesy of his majesty's government-in-absentia of new zealand, my dad had to swear an oath of allegiance to the king to get his government job which blew my mind. down with crowns. blessings and i hope my transition goes as well as abi's
Plan Q is: when you whistle the Bond musical sting, the podcast explodes
I recently re-read the book and Tracy does fully disappear (I think to a sanatorium or something) for the whole middle of the novel.
*Me leaning into my phones microphone* Internship with the UN of Girl Cock openings. Tour of the UN of Girl Cock. Summer Placement with the UN of Girl Cock.
Spy kids 3 with no notes, when?
Lumley was in ohmss
Is it just me or are the no notes episodes developing a kind of a Rashōmon quality? 🥰
Ok, I take back Rashōmon... The Hangover maybe? That or some weird game show. It was a fun listen. Please actually do the Nova's dissertation episode.
We are in the total bond collapse because we’re confusing the theft of grapes and caviar
"Beluga. From the north of the Caspian Sea" or something, which made all the hosts spit with anger because it's even more impossibly specific than being served a drink of the correct temperature.
The no notes project has finally fully crossed the madness event horizon and I'm so happy
This episode really does feel like an excerpt from "Dear Mr. Burns."
Oh hell yes, glad to see another one so soon!
Just what i needed!
