ClearlyConfused

Hey guys! It’s been a bit! Sorry for the lack of updates, but I wanted to try something different. In April, I realized summer was fast approaching and I had not made the progress on the summer comic I needed, so I've been hard at work on that. Plus, after the comic last year grew and stretched out

Alex is not as great with cats as she is with dogs. Maybe they smell her smug attitude and wish to take her down a peg. The past two comics were also compiled into a single short for YouTube: https://youtube.com/shorts/rK91JKgwKsw?si=mksJ-qOZaN2F5g5L Give it a watch if you want some sound effects al

Alex stops to pet a dog. Maybe she’s got a career as a dog trainer!

The manga for Chainsaw Man ended this week and I binged it to see how it ends. Part 2 was a very fun read, but man Fujimoto just gave up at the ending. Feels like some outside force made the manga end which sucks. This page specifically was making the rounds online as a meme, so I decided to make my

Surprise! New animation! I wanted to make this meme since it first gained traction in the Umamusume community. I made a comic based on it back in February but decided against posting it (but it will be available as a bonus post for all paid patrons today!) Once I finished the Professional Hater vide

Vertical Version: https://youtube.com/shorts/l2YxuOctjq8?si=CadRwKKsPdps9VVa The newest animation is finished! I wanted to do something with the JJK Naoya fight scene that was going around on twitter, but I couldn't think of anything good until a few weeks ago. I may have done a little too good on t

We need to start 2026 out on a strong note; so what better way than a month old meme! I wish I got this out in December when the meme was still hot, but I really wanted to go as hard as possible on the dance sequence. I think it turned out really well. I have many more animation ideas for this year,

New comic for Christmas! I'm very bad at giving gifts and I noticed my friends and family fall into a few different categories. I wanted to figure out where everyone on my cast lands. Also, I doodled a little Christmas scene of everyone as a bonus. I hope you all have wonderful holidays and a happy

As a continuation of last week's comic, Alex is dragging Matt along for a beach adventure.

Happy independence day for everyone in the USA! Last year I did a fun little painting of the gang enjoying the holiday together, but I wanted to show what they all do when they're not together. I'm gonna expand on this in the coming weeks, so stay tuned!

New comic is up! Video version available here: https://youtube.com/shorts/kqErmueccUs?si=BEX-prxMi1dGBwia I got a Switch 2 recently and was curious if the switch cartridges were still coated to taste weird. Turns out they do! If we're being honest, Emma doesn't have the chaotic energy to do this, bu

Finished the gas station short! Jacob being the only one with a car means he's gotta drag all his friends around when they leave the city. THREE Passenger Princesses (YouTube)

Uploaded a new comic today! And this time, I released the video version right alongside it. Watch it here >> https://youtube.com/shorts/g34Wql9-Ras <<

Uploaded a new comic today, hopefully Matt will still be alive in the next comic!

Now we're back to our regularly scheduled programming! I'm hoping to keep the scope of these shorts a little more reasonable so I can make them more frequently and hopefully work on the bigger stuff alongside them. I also got something special in mind for the next comic, so stay tuned for that! What

I was sad about cute shark graduating from Hololive and thought our resident weeb would be sad too. I'm working on new shorts. Should have Wips and early access for members in the next few days!

With the release of this video, the Emma plush meme journey is at an end. Until 9pm EST, you can still get your own. Use discount code: MS-HJ8T5PFBQXWF to get 10% off! Maybe I'll do something similar if I do another plush run, but we'll see what the state of international trade is before commit to t

New comic as well! The good people over at Makeship were able to extend the campaign by another week. It was absolutely incredible we reached 300 units, but now let's see if we can crack 400! https://www.makeship.com/products/emma-plushie Use this discount code to get 10% off! MS-HJ8T5PFBQXWF After

New short was posted yesterday! I wanted to try my hand at the Akage meme with Emma EMMA AKAGE (YouTube)

I really picked a poor time to launch this plush. I channeled all my current economic anxiety into a comic. Sorry for the lack of updates on Patreon. My original plan for the plush campaign went out the window and so I'm working as fast as I can to make more content before the campaign ends. Once it

After I started creating memes with the Emma plush, I realized it would be fun to string them together into a little short. Sorry its out on a weird day for me. It was going to be out last Friday, but I needed to make a lot of changes before I was happy with it. More content coming soon! Mark Clearl

New Comic is out! I wanted to keep it a secret until the plush was released! For the next 21 days, Emma is available as a adorable plush! Get yours here at: https://www.makeship.com/products/emma-plushie

New short is up! Matt breaks the news to Alex that she might have a problem. Alex has a drinking problem (YouTube)

Hi guys, I'm back with some fresh content! For those worried about my last post, I'm all good. Shoulder seems to be recovering well and already has a lot of its strength back. Luckily it wasn't my drawing arm, so it hasn't affected my work. I've been preoccupied with other projects and also a lot of

Happy Holidays Everyone! I've already gone home to visit my family for Christmas, but I finished this little short before I left. Needed to do some last minute changes, so hopefully there isn't anything I missed. Hope you all have some lovely holidays! See you guys in the new year! Two morons crash

Hey everyone! I am back from the dead! Sorry for my extended hiatus. I never planned to be gone so long. TLDR: If you don’t care about the details, I’m back! I’m focusing more on making the ideas for shorts and comics as good as they possibly can be. To let me fully control what ideas I make, I’m re

Trendy dance is done and out! I think this one will struggle in the algorithm. It's an unknown song; there's no joke or story to it; and the animation isn't flashy enough to impress people on its own. However, I really wanted to create this dance sequence and I think it came out really well. Compari

Finished a new short! Really wanted to get a second short up this month. Apologies to paid patrons for not giving you guys an early version. I thought I would be done earlier but other things got in the way. Now I gotta get back to work on my other projects. Hopefully should give updates soon! Who e

Took a break from the last short I was working on to finish this Patreon voted one! Very fun and added the magnifying glass bit at the very end to really exaggerate the punchline. Alongside finishing up the last video, I have some plans for another poll soon that will have more major consequences fo

You may have noticed the new animation wasn't posted this week. In fact, nothing was posted this week. I was dead set on uploading this Friday because I didn't want it to be 2 months without an animated short. To me, that is unacceptable so I didn't even consider making a piece of art in the event I

ClearlyConfused has made his way to Vidcon! The gang can't be there IRL, but their creator is. If you are at the event and spot the mask, feel free to say hello!

The ClearlyConfused Discord Server is now officially Live! In the Patreon survey I ran a couple months back, there was a ton of support for a Discord page and everyone wanted it to be open to everybody, not just patrons. In the background of other work, I've been putting the server together, creatin

Newest short is finished and up on channel! Voted on by my patrons, this was a fun one to make. Sorry I didn't go up last week. It needed a couple extra days in the oven. Planning to do a few art posts while I figure out what short I'm gonna make next. Thank you for the support! Mark When your frien

It's going up a lot later than I wanted, but I finished it today! Completely underestimated how much work this would be. I kept wanting to add backgrounds or other extra details to make it as good as possible. It meant I didn't get much sleep last night, lol. Hopefully I can plan better in the futur

TLDR: I want to make my Patreon better! Click the link and fill out my survey to tell me how I should improve it! >>>https://forms.gle/S3EQocNo9gkNbe868<<< I've been running this Patreon for almost two years now and, while I've made some great content, I've also had my fair share of missteps on this

Finished the new short! See, I told you it would be done soon! I'm pretty happy with it. I think the character animation for Emma came out really good and the additions I made added my own spin to the original meme. It will likely not be my highest performer because I wanted to make one last change.

Hey guys! A new short is up! I got inspired by an old MGS V meme and thought it would be a fun animation challenge to recreate the shadows over the course of the day/night. I did a lot of last minute tweaking, but I'm pretty happy with the end result! I'm hoping to put the next short up to as anothe

Sup everyone! Yesterday you may have noticed a little valentine's day surprise. Seems Matt was feeling a bit lonely on the holiday. You can watch the short here: https://youtube.com/shorts/GUgEvMjEG-o?si=ATpFu39Mv1Ngg5za Since I wanted to make it as seamless of a loop as possible, I didn't include t

If you didn't see it yesterday, new video is up! Usually I don't release things on Wednesday, but I didn't want to break my "at least one short a month" goal immediately. Its not performing super well; I think it fell into the same trap as Unimpressed where it doesn't hook the viewer and the final j

Hey guys! We’ve reached the end of 2023, so it’s time to look back at the year and get ready for the next! Check out the new compilation video to see the whole year in review! 1 Million Subs First off, I got a million subscribers. Insane. It still doesn’t feel real and I’m so happy to everyone that

Finished a new short, hope people enjoy it! Tbh, I don't looooove how it turned out. It felt better in my head and I thought the sound effects would do more to carry the jokes than it did in the final product. In hindsight, I should have workshopped this idea a bit more before making it. Hopefully t

Very goofy video. Had a lot of fun making it. I was struggling with the sound and editing near the end (this was suppose to be out yesterday lol), but I eventually got it together. So far it seems to be doing really well, which is fantastic!... but also means I have even less time for the 1 million
