Monsterdale: Interactive Map
Here is a resource for Patrons and players of the fantasy save file who have been playing the save (and downloaded) since before April 2023. If they now want to add Monsterdale to their game, I've made these resources to give credit to the creators who helped me finish the map and to assist them to transition from Copperdale to Monsterdale in their existing save files.
Just joined or downloaded the save file after or in April of 2023? You can play Monsterdale as it was added to the save before you started playing. You won't need to follow these steps. Just download the save file here if you haven't already.
Don't feel like following all these steps? Replace your old save file with the latest one. Or play the latest save file as an alternate time line and separate from your old one.
1. Very important! This resource is for your desktop. Pdf links will not work on mobile and you cannot download trayfiles on your mobile phone any way!
2. Download the pdf file "Map of Monsterdale" to your desktop. Open the file in a pdf reader.
3. View on 80% so that the full map displays on your screen.
1. The location symbols on the pdf image / map contain links for download.
2. Click the symbols to take you to downloads. Unable to download or access, please contact me on socials or here on patreon and I will assist. As your cursor hovers over the location symbols, it will change from an arrow to a little hand showing that it is "clickable".
3. Download form EA gallery: the lots can be found in your library.
4. Download from SFS or other venue: Unzip and extract the trayfiles. Cut and paste files DIRECTLY into your tray folder. Your tray folder can be found as folder in your Sims 4 files. Once you've pasted them, they will show up in your library. DO NOT PLACE THEM IN YOUR TRAYFOLDER INSIDE ANOTHER FOLDER. They won't show up that way.
1. Delete your current Copperdale lots. Evict and delete any families that shouldn't be there.
2. Click on lot and enter via build mode for best results. Once on the lot in build mode: cntrl + shift + c to open the cheat menu. Put the following cheat for best results: bb.moveobjects on
3. Place the lot via your library.
4. Consult the spreadsheets and the map of Monsterdale if you get overwhelmed or lost.
