So sorry for the long hiatus, my dearest Patrons. I am so grateful for your patience! Although the process has taken longer than I'd have liked, the next video is about halfway edited. The full run-time, at least right now, is two and a half hours. It's probably the most complex script I've put toge

Good evening, dearest patrons! I apologize for not keeping up with you for quite a long time now. As the last video suggests, things have been... busy. On the YouTube side, I've actually been grinding out a very, very complicated video on American soft power: one which is proving to be literally as

Hey Patrons. My sincerest apologies for my relative silence. I've been working on an extremely long and difficult video on American soft power, and in the interim time, also made this video for you, which is tangentially also related to my absence. Thank you all for being so patient. I sincerely hop

The gag is finally done! But, well, it got copyright striked immediately. Which, in hindsight, I should have predicted would happen. That's alright though! Here's what we'll do. I'll put the gag here on Patreon, free for everyone to watch! And we'll just direct the audience here if they're intereste

Good evening, dear patrons. I have some new content for you, while you wait for the next video! I apologize for the delay, by the way. I'm afraid real life got a bit in the way, but I promise I haven't disappeared on you! Kari Lalonde, is both a dear friend of mine and a video game completionist (ca

...or, How Anime and Gacha Became Asia’s Soft Power Battlefield. A sequel (of sorts) to Kawaii: Anime, Propaganda, and Soft Power Politics. --- If you've played any gacha games recently, you may have noticed that many gacha games pretend to be Japanese, or use a lot of Japanese aesthetics or even vo

LouritaShine and I have been working on the Moon Channel Discord for a little while now, but the effort has been slightly hampered by my complete inexperience with Discord as a platform. Today, that culminated in a totally surprise launch, after I integrated Patreon with Discord, thereby inviting ev

Good morning, dear patrons! Or should I say, good evening? I'm writing to you not from the United States, but from Taipei, having just spent about two weeks in Mainland China. I went equipped with a VPN (this Patreon post is bought to you by Mullvad, apparently), but though it was able to get me pas

The recent Rouge the Bat video is one of the funniest videos I've ever made, but sadly not the best performing. In spite of this, I told Moon Channel artist LouritaShine that if the video can just change the wiki such that Rouge's bat species gets changed, I'll consider it, in my books, a success. W

In light of recent events, I've retooled the Korean Gacha credit's gag to make a short. And, like last time, I forgot that shorts are vertical, and made the whole thing horizontal. I'm hesitant to post this though, onto the wider channel. I figured perhaps I'd share this with all of you first, to ge

Hey Patrons! So, I've been approached by a new sponsor: Better Help. I wasn't aware of it at first, but it seems that Better Help has had some controversy recently. The upcoming video is on depression, and it might be a good fit for Better Help. My question to all of you is, what do you think? Shoul

It seems that the fate of Moon Channel and Brazil are deeply intertwined.

It's been a very long year of law and YouTube. After that last video in particular, I thought, heck, it's high time I actually took some real time off. So, I hop on the plane, and go to Italy... only to have my phone snatched out of my hand, as I exit the train into Stazione Milano Centrale. I'm afr
