Why Do Lawyers Want to Abolish ICE?

Hey Patrons. My sincerest apologies for my relative silence. I've been working on an extremely long and difficult video on American soft power, and in the interim time, also made this video for you, which is tangentially also related to my absence.

Thank you all for being so patient. I sincerely hope this video doesn't turn you off from the channel, but its topic matter, to me, was just too important not to share. If you have any questions about anything in the video, let me know: I'll try to answer every one I can.

In the United States, Immigration and Customs Enforcement, or ICE, is a unique legal entity with characteristics unlike any other, which thereby allow its powers to be abused unlike any other. Lawyers have long seen ICE as a threat to American democracy, and for good reason. In this hopefully only special episode of Moon Channel, let me, an expert in the field, explain to you why ICE is so legally dangerous. This is not a matter of partisan politics: what ICE represents should concern us all.
