Month 69: September 2026 Releases

September marks our 69th month on Patreon. Looking back to when we first started—releasing just five or six miniatures in an entire month—reaching this point feels almost unbelievable. That journey has only been possible thanks to your ongoing enthusiasm, patience, and support.

This month brings together three rich ranges across historical, fantasy, and sci-fi: ancient Greek skirmishers and architecture, stalwart dwarf reinforcements, and the next expansion for Space Legions.

The Adventurer

Our classical Greek range expands this month with tactical flexibility and centerpiece scenery:

• Athenian Strategos: An Athens-inspired commander sculpted with commanding poise, designed to lead forces from Athens or serve as a general for any Greek city-state.

• Greek Peltasts with Slings: Four multipart skirmishers armed with slings, each offering two distinct pose options, featuring pelte-shielded and unshielded variants, bareheaded and helmeted options, and dynamic winding and casting stances. Designed to combine with the javelin kit, their interchangeable components allow you to create substantially greater variety.

• Greek Peltasts with Javelins: Four multipart light infantrymen equipped with javelins, each featuring two pose options to complete our Greek skirmisher line. The kit shares compatible components with the slinger set, allowing parts from both kits to be combined for greater variety.

• Greek Temple: A complete rectangular classical temple with fluted columns, porticoes at the short ends, pediments, a decorated frieze, a pitched tiled roof, enclosing walls, a central chamber, and an interior floor.

The Bannerman

The mountain holds muster with iron, flame, and classic character craft:

• Dramatis Personae: Neidhart: The debut release in a new character series, bringing to life an original character design by illustrator Frida Bergholtz—a slender human figure in layered clothing with a plumed cap and curved sword. This marks our first collaboration with Frida, and we sincerely hope it will not be the last; beyond being a remarkably talented artist, she has been a genuinely lovely person to work with. We warmly recommend following her work at @fridabergholtz: https://www.instagram.com/fridabergholtz/

• Dwarf King with Shieldbearers: Borne aloft by four sturdy shieldbearers in raven-totem armour, this monarch is sculpted to integrate seamlessly alongside veteran units like the Longbeards.

• Dwarf Dracofires: Developed after the dwarfs' defeat by dragons in the War of the Roots to answer dragonfire mechanically, these close-range fire-support troops carry heavy backpack tanks, flexible hoses, and dragon-headed flamethrowers, including leader and standard-bearer options.

• Dwarf Cannons: When designing these artillery pieces, our goal was explicitly not to create ordinary human cannons with dwarfs simply placed around them. The design language is one hundred percent dwarven engineering—nothing borrowed from or recognisably human, unfamiliar in form but completely functional in purpose. This release includes a pair of staged artillery emplacements with heavy cannons on iron-braced wooden carriages, operating crews, timber mantlets, and battlefield accessories including cannonballs, barrels, and tools.

• Dwarf Clan Warriors: A blast from the past, this classic older LastSword unit is being brought back as the steadfast foundation of any dwarf force, supporting three complete configurations: spears, hand weapons and shields, or two hand weapons.

The Crusader

Humanity no longer commands a continuous empire across the stars, surviving instead along a moving Perimeter. Behind this frontier lies the Estela Negra—the dark wake of exhausted suns, frozen planets, and silent ruins where populations and fleets can no longer remain. Guided by Heliarchs and sustained by House fleets, the Solar Legions can still win battles and secure campaigns, even as every forced displacement costs humanity another irreplaceable world:

• Helion Plasma Squad: A dedicated futuristic firepower unit equipped with plasma rifles and plasma cannons.

• Steel Ancestor: A massive armoured bipedal war machine equipped with integrated firearms and energy-wreathed close-combat weapons, featuring a multipart leg breakdown that allows adjustable positions and stances.

• Keeper of the Faith: A Space Legions chaplain figure in heavy power armour with reliquary details, wearing a skull-faced helm, tabard, bound book, compact sidearm, and skull-topped crozius, shown across renders in weapon-forward and exhorting presentation choices.

The Squire

The September reward for The Squire is one Dwarf Dracofire from the full Dwarf Dracofires unit:

The Sovereign (All in)

Backers in The Sovereign tier receive the entire September 2026 collection—all 12 September releases across The Adventurer, The Bannerman, and The Crusader.

Thank you once again for making month 69 a reality and for sharing this journey with us. We hope you enjoy printing, painting, and fielding these models as much as we enjoyed creating them.
