This is from a shoot I had with the amazing Herodiade in Chatlet Lumiere, a nice studio not too far from Venice. The studio, besides a large white seamless background, also has different sets to shoot in, and since I appreciate an environment that looks like “real” places, I naturally chose some of

If you have a photo shoot next weekend, what do you need to make it better? A useful lighting idea? A clearer way to direct your model? A composition you have not tried before? A plan for when the location or weather refuses to cooperate? Making THAT (and much more) accessible is the idea behind my

I think I’ll hang up my camera and make a business of creating bespoke shibari lingerie 😜. Well, perhaps not. Wiana came up with the idea for this, and it was a lot of fun figuring out how to actually create the design, especially the thong. The light here is an Elinchrom Litemotiv 80x180cm indirec

The complete video archive has been migrated to a new provider, and all Patreon videos are working again. On August 20, Vimeo disabled playback for all my videos (2.500 in all) despite our ongoing communication about resolving the bandwidth issue. Exactly eight days ago, on August 23, I received fin

Varvara, in a couple of images I can actually share in public as she’s dressed 😅 I shot this sometime in January and used a Paul C Buff Ringflash for lighting. I know the ring flash is loved by many and hated by an equally many. I find they work well when not photographing the model head-on, but ra

I've moved my entire archive to another host and am working on streamlining the last bits and pieces. Thanks, Thomas Hey everyone. I host my videos on Vimeo, but they have temporarily suspended my account due to excessive bandwidth usage. It seems to be a handful of videos that have been binge-watch

I'm humbled by your understanding regarding my mom's passing, and having to change my priorities away from work, and thus, posting here. So thank you from the bottom of my heart. That said, I had planned to start my summer holiday 5 days ago, but I didn't want to let you (and all the models) down, s

My mother quietly passed away a few days ago, and her funeral is less than a week away. Her time was up, and with her physical condition, it was a good thing for her. Right now, I don't have the time to edit, and even though I enjoy it, there are other things on my mind than creating posts for you a

When I first shot with Istella model, she had spent a day or two in Copenhagen, among other things, updating her lingerie collection, and I thought it would be a pity not to at least do a couple of images with that on. But contrary to many other photographers, when I both shoot nude and clothed, I a

This is Sergeant Ice, the second model, who saved my bacon as a stand-in in Italy. The black balloon was for a completely different outdoor idea I had, and I spent considerable time sourcing Helium in Italy to make it happen. And when the time came to actually shoot it, it was raining.🤷‍♂️ So we en

Kaylee Killion shot at FD Photostudio in Los Angeles. I’d shot with Kaylee the previous year and hit her up when I found another opportunity to go back to LA. It's pretty hard to find outdoor places to shoot Art-Nudes (it's very populated and I don't know it that well), so I looked for available stu

I don’t often shoot lingerie or everyday clothes, but I did a something-for-something with Varvara. She doesn’t care too much about the nudes, but she really wanted images with outfits, so I thought that was a fair trade. And frankly, I do dig this bodysuit and will eventually edit more images from

I think every model-photographer has taken part in the discipline called ‘how not to sit in a chair’. I suppose we all have the wish to create something different and surprising. And it does create an interesting view, which is hard not to spend a few seconds decoding, right?

I had Reikie and Jus in the studio a few weeks ago, and let me just say,: together they make a duo with a connection unlike most I've worked with (zoom into the first image to see an example). They are about to go on a tour together in Switzerland, btw. We shot a lot of great concepts, and frankly,

There is a lot to say about setting up a backup system, and I recently had to redo mine (for the second time) after realizing I had lost some previous shoots due to disk corruption (*). And since I cloned one disk onto another, the backup of the backup was also gone, and I only realized this many mo

This post describes a very brief BTS note about scouting a waterfall-related setting and identifying an area to avoid, without explaining why. Checking out where not to go with the camera (for good reason) Zsan Waterfall 2025-09-13 23.04.57.mp4 (bunny.net)

Isabella Chris (Formerly known as Belzen) brought this red body to a shoot, and we decided to shoot something usable on Instagram. (*) I think we shot 10 frames, as I’m just not into lingerie. I mean, it’s a nice enough image with nice lighting from the window, but I’m not into fashion-like imagery

I shot this in 2017 with Roarie Yum at a fantastic place called Little Finland. Little Finland isn't in Scandinavia, but named because it’s “the land of fin’s - on rocks"), and it is located in Nevada, USA. I read somewhere that it was once connected to the Valley of Fire, and looking at a map, I ca

Hey Everyone, it's been a hectic few months making my new book, doing 3 weeks of workshops in Lanzarote, launching and marketing the Kickstarter campaign for Dopamine Driven Art, and now packing and shipping 300+ Packages over the next 8-10 days. I want to share this from my Email newsletter, and only because it is a VERY good deal. Actually that doesn’t even cover it… Become a FANTASTIC photographer in just 1 day (Mailchi)

I shot this very sensual series with Simone. While we started using lingerie, we quickly agreed that it worked better in the nude. The rest of the series is available on the Photographer's Tier.

Since my Patreon almost exclusively consists of nude images, posting something that isn't nude feels odd. And indeed because I do post nudes my Patreon account is marked as 18+, which also means Patreon are looking extra closely over my (and others shoulders) as you can see in the second image. Howe
