Update - 14/06/2021

Hello, guys! How was everyone's weekend? Mine was pretty entertaining actually, met some friends from the gym and also had a game of Rolemaster with my usual crew on Saturday night. It's already hot as hell here in Madrid so we're just limiting ourselves to indoor activities near the AC, haha.

Last week I finally finished the Antagonists chapter for Across a Thousand Dead Worlds. As  usual, I'll have to go back to it after playtesting to balance things out and add some more details, but for now I'm happy with how it is. So what's next for the Playtest? My idea is to give you guys access to the Site exploration rules and the Antagonists chapters, and with that you should have plenty of gameplay to check out. It's not the full experience, since you'll still be missing the planetary exploration rules, as well as the GM-less chapter and all the gear and stuff, but there's plenty of things to do, believe me. At this point the game's about 80% done, so we're getting very close! Finishing the Antagonists chapter was definitely a big milestone.

I've also been working on the Investigation rules for Seekers Beyond the Shroud, which is a huge undertaking mostly because I have pages and pages of notes to go through and several conflicting systems that I'm trying to force into working together but I might have to give up and focus on one and discard the rest. It's a bit early to give you any details, but I want this new system to be one of the pillars of the game so it's important that there's lots of options and that I get it all right.

Last but not least, I can finally officially announce (only to you guys, nobody else knows it) that the next Blackoath Entertainment release will be a deluxe edition of Through Sunken Lands! I finally got the contract signed and the files, so it's moving forward! This is so far my favorite game of 2021, and if you're into Sword & Sorcery done right, with strong Moorcock vibes, you must grab a copy of this. It is currently available via DTRPG, and for those who never heard of the game, it's the latest creation of Flatland Games, the guys behind indie darling Beyond the Wall. TSL is very much the adult version of BtW, it has playbooks, scenario packs, etc., so it's all very familiar to BtW players. I cannot wait to share it with you guys!

So this week I'll be mostly focused on the investigation rules, while trying to put together the layout for my version of TSL. It's going to be a busy week, but I'm excited!
