Update: 03/24/26

Hello everyone!

Been a crazy last couple of weeks, but I think I am finally getting back on track. Long story short, found a doctor and he thinks the skips are/were from lack of sleep, low vitamin D, too much coffee, and just a lot of stress.

Long story short, that plus the low vitamin D were clear indicators I was pushing a little too hard. I've now put myself on a schedule to try to balance things out. I'm also on some medication until I get home, which seems to be helping.

The other slowdown was, in my quest to find a doctor here overseas, I ran into what I assume were fake clinic/hospital sites designed to hijack unsuspecting PCs and attempt to steal information off of them. Keep in mind, things aren't regulated here like they are back home. Anything and everything can be a scam, so you really have to be careful. I was so worried about my health, I wasn't thinking.

At any rate, ended up with a malware that made me have to reset my PC. In that process, I was set back a couple of days. They went so far as to try to hack my home bank account, which made them freeze all my accounts. So, I was without any access to anything for a little bit and had to just wing it.

It's been a ride to say the least lol. Everything is mostly back in order now, though, and I have upped my security on everything. I also triple backup everything, so we shouldn't have this problem again.

Now work continues, and the core updates are 99.9% finished. I figure this week the updates should start, and we'll see if any of this pays off. Two big areas this cleanup phase were intended to cover are compatibility and performance. I got rid of a lot of memory eater type code and have rewritten things in a way that should make my stuff as compatible as it can be with the other stuff out there. Some things just can't be written around, but I have found a few ways that should allow me to work around a lot more.

More when I get things ready for posting. Like I said, probably mid to late week give or take. It all depends on if life wants to throw me any more curve balls lol.
