Progress Update: 10/13/24

Going to try to start posting out here more regularly. So busy writing and all of that, plus I rarely have anything to show other than a wall of code.

That being said, the new Advanced Addon is actively in testing and getting closer to a public release. The new version has quite a few conversion and moisture changes, as well as the new state control system.

I'll have more on that in the days to come. This picture is of a request by my members that I wanted to address. The new conversion system has the ability to allow you to harvest pretty much anything to anything at any time under set conditions. The question asked was, "Can I mow corn stalks into something I can store or bale?" I wasn't completely sure, since the cut state is the final state and you'd normally have a "forever" harvest loop cutting the cut state.

But, yes it is possible! The conversion system lets you swap out the cut state to something else, which is what I do here. The new version will also allow blocking certain states from being cut at all. For example, maybe you wanted to be able to mow corn stalks but not regular corn. You will be able to do that.

Finally, starting I think next week, the tutorials should start back up for my members. I've just been so busy trying to get all of this written and updated, I haven't had the time. Plus, the config keeps changing so I wanted to wait until that was more set in stone.

All of this, or at least the parts that are not in the base game, are all set to be ported over to FS25 when that is released and the initial bugs are worked out.
