play! and ares October compatibility report (mostly play!...)

I know, I know, I’m late… but it’s 100% worth it as I’ve mentioned previously: after many hours of testing, I’ve confirmed 1000 playable games for the PS2 emulator play!. So now more games are playable yadda yadda, anything else? I’m glad you asked, because we also have the first implementation of rumble in the project. It was just merged in the latest master builds so you can already test on your device of choice (would be nice to have some feedback if you find any issues). Sadly, as I had to rush a ton of PS2 tests, I barely had any time to verify games for ares, so I was only able to finish two GBA games.

To update you about my previous storage drama: I got a Kingston 960 GB Sata SSD + an external case, so I have back some of the space I’ve lost due to the HDD + Dockstation dying last month. In the future I’m thinking about some of those double/triple external storage “cases” from Sabrent, Yottamaster or Orico (the brands that I at least know as good from the online feedback I saw). If you know any cheap alternative, let me know ;)

… oh, btw, next month we’re back at our regular schedule, so ares will have the attention it deserves. See you all next month and thanks for the support!
