Heat sword - 2 more options added :D

Ok guys, by now you’re probably getting enough of me already, but I really do appreciate the immediate feedback on all of this — so I’ve got a few more things for you today!

I added 2 more options, so now we have:

1 – LEDs on the side option
2 – LED strip in the middle – the blade ends are trimmed slightly to make room for the LED strip, so the LED distance will “finish” that cut-away part. Long story short: don’t worry about it, just print it and add the LEDs :D
3 – Non-LED option – if you don’t want to mess with LEDs, and prefer to paint it or add filament strips for a glow effect, this one has no wire cutouts and no LED slots.

Also, thank you for pointing out a small mistake — Blade 1 had a tiny issue where it couldn’t fold all the way up. This is now fixed and updated across all versions :)

So just refresh, re-download, and start printing!

Videos for all of this will be made — it’s just an insane amount of work for one person to handle, so thank you for the patience and your awesome support, guys :)

Does anyone have a link for 26mm m3 screws? I can only find 25mm

L

And 22mm lol. Amazon is 20 and 25. And my town sucks for small screws

OOC has anyone tried to use superstrong magnets to keep the sword in open position instead of the screw in screw out technique?

do i need to dissemble the handle to access the battery to recharge every time? instead of aliexpress, will amazon work or does it have to be these specifically?

yes to both, i added phtoos so you can browse the same on other pages :) , yes, the handle has to be removed, otherwise if i make a slot for charging we are limited to what we can use, this was it was designed to be taken apart for chargning/replacing the 18650 battery

Not sure where is best for a question on building with LEDs. Short version: There's no channel for internal LED strips to feed into. Was this planned to just still the LED tape on the *outside*? Btw I'm a bit lost about the actual length of the LED wire we need to order for each option... . 2, 3 or 4 meter? Ty!

M
MysteryMakers · November 16, 2025

you can pick any length, i usually go with the largest bcs you will have to cut some of it away so its better to have spare + you can alwaays use it for other stuff later , i tend to keep reusing parts we have in other projects :)
