Second heat sword option on the way :)

So, I finally watched the movie guys! :)
And this is exactly why good reference photos matter — I noticed something interesting about how the light emits on Dek’s heat sword.

In my original release, I used official prop photos and shots from the movie poster to estimate the LED placement. Based on that, I went with LEDs on each side of the blade and positioned them accordingly. OPTION 1 – (first photo)

However…

In the actual movie, we can see Dek’s heat sword emitting light only from the middle. My assumption is that the prop on set still used the same LED setup as my Option 1, but the final look was digitally enhanced so the glow appears centered. The side LEDs likely helped create practical light during filming, and then post-production did the rest.

So with that in mind — I’m adding another build option!
OPTION 2 – (photos 2 and 3)

This one has the LEDs placed directly in the center channel of the blade, running all the way down to the guard area.

It’s actually even easier to build, and both versions will work perfectly — so you’ll be able to choose whichever style you prefer. :)

Give me a little more time to add this option as well.
