Hey, for some reason this doesn't work for me - I'm trying to used it with HS2 - BR R5, and I even disabled the built in character exporter (that has also CTRL-E as Hotkey) AND tried disabling the built-in screenshot manager in BR R5, but nothing works- Pressing CTRL-E only centers my screen, and I can't find the plugin in the plugin settings either. I unpacked the file to the base folder, and the files are in the BepInEx folder. Any ideas?
Friend, This Video solves your problems with the HS2, I don't know if you still use it or have already given up, but there's a solution, I had the same problem, but then I found this video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Es21z0q-2o0
Hi Joan, I have 2 questions. The AI/HS2 version has EXR output, but is it difficult to implement this in the HS1 version? Since video Exporter does not have lossless codec as an output format, I use the still image output to import into my editing software. Is there any plan to support lossless codec in the future? CineForm(avi) ,AppleProRes(mov) ,H264 lossless(mp4), etc.
Hi, unfortunately it's not that simple to have EXR output in HS1. I want to do it eventually but it could take some time since there is no way for me to natively create EXR files. Regarding lossless codecs, I believe you can already do that with H264 simply by setting the Quality to 0, some documentation on the subject https://trac.ffmpeg.org/wiki/Encode/H.264
How do you use the "Win32" mode for the built-in screenshot tool? The current size is fixed at 0 x 0 so the screenshot cannot be captured.
Sorry for the late answer, was sick. Which game? If it's about Koi Win32 mode simply doesn't work there. I assume there was a mistake on my end while releasing the update because it should have never made it to the final build (for Koi at least).
Hi Joan, I have a quick question. I am using AI and VE 1.2.1. Usually creating a 3 second clip works great. But sometimes (more often right now) it will do the screenshots, then it will get about 1/3rd complete rendering the video and just sits there. I've let it sit for up to 30 minutes before having to kill the task. Has anyone else reported this issue or do you know what might be causing it? My current settings in VE are: using "screenshot manager", "auto gen video" and "auto delete images". Limit by seconds (3 seconds). No resize (1920X1080). Using "webm" and "VP9". Quality at 15, encoding "best", rotation "none", dynamic bone "default", "empty scene enabled".
So after some testing, it looks like this happens if I try to do a video that is more than 1.6 seconds. Beyond that, it will successfully create all the screenshots, then it will complete around 50% or less of the video generation. I can always tell when its about to happen because the ETA starts to climb up. I'm running a Ryzen 7 cpu, 32gb RAM, GTX 1660 video with 6gb, AI is running on a 1gb NVMe SSD drive that has tons of space. No idea what else to do other than finding an outside software to generate the video. Let me know if you have any ideas though... I really liked being able to do it all in one place.
Sorry. How to solve the afterimage that after recording? I tried 3 times and they still appear in both MP4 and gif. Thanks a lot if you can solve my problem ;D
What is that afterimage problem? I have no idea what you're referring to here.
