Status update Episode 12
Happy Friday!
I started the week by wrapping up work with the main girl branch I've been working on for the last couple of weeks. It felt like every time I completed a playthrough of that branch, I came up with a new way of testing it. But now, I believe I have covered all bases.
After that, I worked through a to-do list of 70+ fixes I had noted during my playthroughs. So, I took a break from playing by working on those. Most were relatively quick to fix, but a few involved issues I found with mini-games. I went ahead and thoroughly playtested the affected mini-games, and now it's all good.
After that, I started playing another main girl branch. If you kept track, I have this one and one more main girl branch left until I'm done adding content to the episode.
This branch is easier to work with than the last, but also requires multiple playthroughs and attention to detail. I have finished one playthrough of the branch and started creating the missing content for it. I wrote two scenes and created art for them, and I'm now working on a lewd scene.
Speaking of lewd scenes, I have now decided that there will be just one more lewd scene to go after I finish this one.
So, to sum up what's left to do before beta testing:
Create missing content for 2 main girl branches
Create 2 more lewd scenes
Wrap up SFX and Music work
Wait for the animation queue to complete
Write the missing the Bios entries
Write the missing episode report entries
Finalize the credits section for Season 3 (I'll let you know when I'm about to do it in case you wish to be in the credits. This will be the last chance to appear in the Season 3 credits.)
Create the recap section at the start of episode 12
Test Discord Rich presence integration (the code is written, and everything surrounding it has been prepared)
Playtest and polish all branches
The wait for the animations to render will be a bottleneck, and I will estimate the time required once I'm done creating the remaining content.

Thanks for the update Dr.! This is very encouraging for me to learn that you're almost done in making the main content and that all that's left to do is mostly the finishing touches and the playtesting. The last lap of the race has clearly already started! And then we'll patiently wait for the rendering to finish at last. I'm really feeling the hype now! Let's hope that we will finally get to play it in June or July at most! :D Don't worry, if we have to wait for longer, we'll accept it. ;)

Question, with Quinn being on these banners is she being upgraded to main girl or is she still going to be a side girl?
DPC said before that the main girls were all set from the start and it won't change. He also said that the main distinction between main girls and side girls is that main girls will have a major role in the story whether the MC romance them or just stay friend with them while the side girls play more of a background role in the story if you don't woo them. Quinn is a little bit special because her criminal schemes are important in the overall story arc, but she's still a side girl and that's very apparent from the fact that if you don't involve yourself with her, she spends very little time in the MC's company, not even as a friend.
Regarding the Season 3 credits session, I'd like to participate. Do you plan to wait until the end of the month? I would upgrade when the month changes.

i like what you explained so far and in the last fuw updates,but i do wanna mension when you say main girl and not main girls,that wel if we are in a romance with a "not main girl" wel at the time during episode 11 every girl youre compleetly involved with in a one on one relationship has pretty much become the main girl,i understand the differansiation and it might be allot of work but i do hope that every girl wil eventualy get main girl treatment when other fall away if youre in a one on one relationship meaning as the story goes on it should narrow into the girl or girls you choose so it automaticaly gives them more screentime,just sharing my viewpoint is all,am shure you have thought about this to.
DPC's already defined, but it's been a long time. Short answer is that difference between Main Girl and Side Girl is relative to the main story plot, not MC's interest. Side girl does not immediately mean side piece, even though down the Others branch, you are technically still able to "play the field" even if you aren't. Just not with the Main Girls, of course.

Thanks for the update I'm not very knowledgeable but it sounds like the end is in sight can't wait to sink my teeth in this game especially with all the hardwork you have put into it and from what I've read it sounds like it's going to be very fun to play as you know I haven't even started season 3 so really looking forward to it thank you for all your hardwork take care of yourself
Without spoilers, I suspect you will be doing dozens upon dozens of playthroughs. There are a LOT of scenes that only happen with select choices, and even after playing 60+ playthroughs, I still encounter scenes I've never encountered before that I just haven't figured out the trigger for.
Thanks for the update. Mentioning beta testing and polishing. This tells me, we are on the home stretch. I know, it will still take some time. I am so looking forward to this episode. Currently replaying Sage and Quinn paths and loosing the mansion game on purpose, because I want to see how the scenes are changing without Rusty's car. The bloody animation queue strikes again! Always the choke point at the end of the cycle, though I understand why. Last time DPC mentioned a number for this it was around 100 left but that has been awhile. I wonder where we stand currently on this? Either way we can all see a light appearing at the end of the tunnel. Hopefully playtesting and beta testing all go smoothly.

I'm always looking forward to your updates and even more lately since it feels like you are in the home stretch with episode 12 and i can't wait to play through all the branches multiple times. One thing is for sure Episode 12 is gonna be amazing and one hell of an end to season 3 cant wait to see what you have been cooking up with this episode but i know its gonna be good and leave me empty inside once im completly done with it.
