Status Update Episode 12
Happy Friday!
This week, I worked on and completed a lewd scene for a main girl branch - just one more lewd scene to go now.
I also played this branch a couple of times and fixed things along the way. I have a few more variations left to play before I can move on to the last main girl branch.
What strikes me most while playing these variations is how much content most players won't see, and how important it is to me to do those variations justice, because choice should matter.
Something I worked on extensively this week was dialogue. I extracted all dialogue from the episode, proofread it, and improved upon it.
It was over 500 pages long in Word, so it took quite some time to process. I still have some files left to proofread for the last two main girl branches I'm working on.
Last week, I forgot to mention that the two Special render sets for episode 12 are also left as bullet points on the to-do list. I will get to those after I'm done with the main girl branch content.
As predicted, Episode 12 will officially have over 400 animations by the time it's finished (Season 1 had 360). That milestone was reached earlier this week.

Greetings, Dr Pink Cake and all! About hard to find content, I've unlocked 96.54 % of the released content of Season 3. That is not bad, of course, but I really have no clue how to increase that percentage. It would be great if there was a special guide called "Being a DIK secrets" (or similar), where we got pointers for those hard-to-find scenes.
That would be impossible for me to do, as those dialogue blocks can be anything. There's no way to check which lines you didn't find, only the possibility to state that you missed X number of lines, or, as I chose to display it in the game, a percentage.
Keep up the amazing work, any idea on when the entirety of S3 will drop on steam?

No, there isn't an Android version of Being a DIK

"Choice should matter"... I said it already, and I say it again: You have more relevant choices with consequences in your game than many AAA-RPGs. In fact, Being a DIK is a real RPG regarding story, character shaping and choices. For me this makes the game great. I can't wait to uncover all (OK, many) of the scenes you created. Pushed the dialogue counter a bit higher this week. Still wondering, there the remaining 6.15% are hidden...

Over 500 pages of dialogue is, at a *minimum*, over 150,000 words. Goddamn!

500 pages and it's not even the whole episode! That's very impressive. It's a true novel for sure. I love the fact that choices do really matter in BaD. A lot of AVN only pretend that the choices made by players matter, but in BaD, even small ones often change dialogues in a few scenes. That kind of attention to details is what make your work trully unique and we thank you for that. We're reaching the of the journey with episode 12, I can feel it. It appears that this might be the greatest episode we've ever seen which seems strange to say since the all the episodes of the season 3 so far I've been more amazing than the ones before. Take good care of yourself DPC, you deserve it.
FIrst off Doc amazing work as always. Secondly jesus christ 500 pages and over 400 animations for episode 12. Season 3 final episode is gonna be massive christ the episode alone is bigger than all of season 1 combined. I cant say it enough you always cease to amaze Doc with the amount of work you put into this and i cant wait to play through everything in episode 12 i want and im gonna see every single thing this episode has to offer and i dont care how long its gonna take me. Season 3 is gonna go out with a hell of alot of content and a bang. As always Doc enjoy your more than well deserved weekend. If it makes you feel any better I have 92 saved variation and I currently have viewed 95.7% of the dialogue. So not all of your efforts go unappreciated. That last 4.3% is difficult to find. But I continue to look for these.
