Lindybeige

This one is in interview format, and my two guests are the writers of a new dramatisation of the true (as far as they can get it) life of a British legend. I'm considering doing what a lot of other YouTubers do, which is to publish a list of patrons - showing their names rush across the screen. Is t

In which I discuss villains in the movies with a chap from Ceylon who is bit more Disney than I. In other news, I have just witnessed the trailer for The Uprising (presumably about Wat Tyler) and it looks so amazingly bad I found it astonishing. If I did a video about it, it would be saying all the

A podcast, in which I talk to a nice chap about castles for an hour or so. What defines a castle? Sieges! Oppression! The end of castles! Big piles of rock! Lindybeige on besieging a castle (YouTube)

The main part of the interview I did with BigMac in a museum in a hidden bunker somewhere in the Carpathians. Not for the very faint of heart. Two Brits and a dog in a bunker in Ukraine (YouTube)

BigMac is back! Yes, he said he wouldn't return to the front, but then he went back anyway. This is an on-line interview with him in his new roles as sapper and drone pilot. Marvel at the casual nature in which sappers handle explosives! I used Jitsi to record the footage, and the format came out as

'BigMac' Joe McDonald came back to review his first seven months' fighting in Ukraine with the Legion. He has since returned to the front. Incidentally, can you tell which bit was shot using my new equipment? What equipment do you think it is? A Brit volunteer in Ukraine: looking back on seven month

Brandon takes on considerably more dangerous work, and perhaps inevitably pays a price. A Canadian volunteer in Ukraine part four: rescuing civilians and hitting a mine (YouTube)

Brandon shows us that the world's nerds are capable of making quite a difference in Ukraine. A Canadian volunteer in Ukraine: mobilising the nerd army (YouTube)

Brandon tells us how he ended up dealing with serious war casualties in a Ukrainian hospital, despite minimal training. This one got delayed by sponsorship hiccups. I ended up having to make the advert three times. Still - got there in the end. There used to be a 'community' tab on Patreon. I recall

For those of you who like the very long ones with lots of talking: a very long one with lots of talking. A Canadian volunteer in Ukraine: part one - why I went, and the shock of arrival (YouTube)

More tales from Ukraine. It looks as though there will be another round of these, as Joe is visiting the studio again. Perhaps I'll set the two-shot camera up straight this time. A Brit Fighting in Ukraine: part 5 - scariest moment, being a FO, winning a medal, hearts and minds (YouTube)

He wasn't exactly James Bond, but he was a spy in Ukraine, and they did catch him. Find out how: Lots of talk about the Soviet/Russian ways of doing things too. How We Caught A Spy: Soviet hangovers in Ukraine (YouTube)

Here's another one of the International Legion volunteer's interview: https://youtu.be/ofJw89oI4cc This time, it's all about what it's like to sit in a trench and wait, while many things go 'bang!' all around you.

https://youtu.be/DANTP2n8x3c This one is about kit. Part three is on the way - that will be about the experience of being shelled.

My friend returned from the front in Ukraine, and I interviewed him. Here, he tells us of his training. I left his strong language in, and this video does mention many deaths. maxresdefault.jpg (YouTube)

Why are the two men in this video dressed as they are? Well, that will in time become apparent. The man who owns Judge Dredd (YouTube)

A bit of a departure here. A friend of mine is on his way to Ukraine, and I thought it a good idea to record his thoughts before he went. A leap into the unknown: a British man joins the Ukrainian International Legion (YouTube)

Another long one. Twenty to thirty minutes, we agreed, and then it over-ran a bit. Getting to do this sort of thing is a great perk of my job. The man who gave us Call of Cthulhu, and Doom: Sandy Petersen (YouTube)

This one goes 'live' tomorrow, but you get it a day early. It's another LARP one, dealing with an issue that some people have surprisingly strong views on. Who can play an elf? LARP's thorny issue (YouTube)

Hello patrons. I hope you liked the video about the Downton Abbey LARP (Fairweather Manor). The interview with me was quite long, and I used only a bit of it, preferring to show you pictures of the game in progress rather than of me talking about it. Anyway, revealed today just for you, here is the

This is a bonus video for patrons. You have not been charged. I thought that some of you might like to see the complete ramblings - all seventeen and half minutes of them - of the interview I did with the creators of the computer game Thrones of Britannia. I used clips from it in the video for gener
