Fairweather Manor - the unedited full interview
Hello patrons. I hope you liked the video about the Downton Abbey LARP (Fairweather Manor). The interview with me was quite long, and I used only a bit of it, preferring to show you pictures of the game in progress rather than of me talking about it.
Anyway, revealed today just for you, here is the full unedited video they did with me, immediately after the game had finished. The questions come from behind the camera and are very quiet, but you can hear them. Knowing that it is a more useful way to do things in this sort of interview, I did not talk over the questions, and instead paused and then performed my answers to the camera in a way that made the questions obvious. I learned to do this long ago. For example, if the question is "What was your character's name?" one should never answer "Harold Lockwood" because in the edit, this does not mean anything. Instead, you should always wait for the interviewer to shut up (so that the sound is clean) and include the question's information in the answer: "My character's name was Harold Lockwood". Then the editor can use the sound, or sound and picture, and it will all make sense to the viewers, and no one need hear the interviewer.
As it is a bonus video, you have not been charged.
