A Brit Fighting in Ukraine: part 5 - scariest moment, being a FO, winning a medal, hearts and minds
More tales from Ukraine. It looks as though there will be another round of these, as Joe is visiting the studio again. Perhaps I'll set the two-shot camera up straight this time.

Wow, I can really relate to his words at 19:15, as I myself was in a huge military operation in 2014. I was in the artillery myself and we sat on our self-propelled guns 5km from the battlefield and watched as rockets and missiles flew back and forth over our heads for over a month straight, helicopters going for strafing runs, leaving towering plumes of smoke... My battery alone used up some 20 tons of munitions in 2 weeks there, more than we'd used up for training in my entire service before or after this action.
Wow, those were some incredible stories. Do let us know when he publishes his memoirs. Really think there should be some official recognition from our government for British volunteers like him.
