Your town, your track: EvoForge 1.1.35
Thank you for supporting EvoForge! 1.1.35 brings Build a track: draw your own track, or turn any real place into one — a circuit with its real elevation, a mountain road, or a whole area of a town up to 2.5 km, with real streets, kerbs, roundabouts, buildings, rivers and bridges, in free roam. Online liveries now only pass through, rounds and hosting get their fixes, and converted cars keep their pictures.
Build a track
A new door in the Workshop. One screen, five tools, and a 3D view drawn like the game draws a track: same materials, same sky and sun, same trees. Draw the layout point by point, or start from a template: oval, club, Grand Prix, figure eight with a bridge, mountain pass.
Kerbs, run-off and walls stretch by stretch; paint the ground with the game’s surfaces (each one a look, a grip and a sound); place close to a thousand of the game’s props, or your own objects (OBJ, FBX). Start, grid, pits, pit lane, AI line and start lights follow on their own; Ready to race says what needs a look; take an onboard lap; then Try in game: EvoForge builds the track, declares it and starts the race.
Start from a real circuit: From a real map… finds it by name, shows every layout the map knows, and builds the one you pick with its real elevation, pit lane, buildings and woods. Our Brands Hatch runs within about a metre of the laser-scanned one that ships with the game.
Or a real road: a mountain pass like the Col de Turini with its real climb, raced from A to B; or your own GPS trace (GPX, KML).
Or a whole area, up to 2.5 km around any address — in free roam. Every street becomes a real street: its width from the map, a cambered carriageway, 13 cm kerbs you feel, pavements flush with the grass, junctions with rounded kerbed corners, dropped kerbs in front of driveways and service lanes, roundabouts with a kerbed grass island and splitter islands, zebra crossings and lane lines. Car parks and squares follow the slope, footpaths meet what they join at the same height.
The place around you: buildings on their real footprints and heights, with windows, shutters and roofs that fit any shape (and footprints from aerial imagery where the map has none); rivers and lakes with their banks and quays; bridges that are part of their street; trees surveyed one by one. No start, no finish: drive anywhere.
Anywhere in the world: elevation from the best open survey of each country (1 m in France, laser surveys in about twenty countries, 30 m everywhere else), tree heights from a worldwide canopy map, and an aerial photo under the 3D view to guide you (38 national sources, satellite elsewhere).
Light enough to drive: far ground and far buildings switch to lighter versions, like the game’s own tracks — 77 frames per second on 2.5 km of central Lyon on our test PC (the game’s own Nürburgring: 68 on the same PC), 92 in Annecy.
Your searches stay on your PC: EvoForge downloads the map, the survey and the photos itself and keeps them on your PC; nothing goes through our servers. Map credits are written in the track.
Good to know: a dense 2.5 km area takes several minutes to build and weighs several GB (the app says so before); in an area, practice starts with the game’s pit-exit procedure (Enable pit limiter): drive off and it goes.
Online liveries only pass through
A livery shown online is no longer stored: it is deleted when you close the game, when you move to another server, when no EvoForge driver has been on that server for 15 minutes, or when the host stops it. Only the liveries shared with your team or a club stay stored. Removing a livery deletes it at once, with its picture.
The game starts once everything has passed: your livery sent, the other EvoForge drivers’ liveries set in your game. No fixed wait while it moves; after 20 seconds without progress, or with Launch without waiting, the game starts and the rest follows during the session. Sending and receiving now run at the same time, three downloads at once.
Championships and hosting
Fuel and tyre pressures no longer go back to the organiser’s values when you click Drive on round and practice servers protected by a password: EvoForge introduced you to the host without the server’s password, so the host could not tell your choices came through EvoForge.
Join practice from the round page, not only from the championship page, while that round’s practice server runs.
Invitation links to round and practice servers: the password comes from your saved passwords, and the server’s content downloads from the invitation too.
Hosts see who is connecting: a Connections card on the server dashboard — each driver with their number, the time, their registration and how it ended (car taken, still on Connection, turned away and why) — and “N drivers stuck on Connection” with what to check.
A clearer message when the game has not created its race settings yet: run one Solo session (a practice is enough), then close the game. The Steam ticket message is now in English too.
Converted cars
Pictures of converted cars no longer disappear in the app. Nothing to convert again: the update is enough.
Retake thumbnails in a car’s Liveries tab: every livery photographed again in the game’s thumbnail studio, in the app and in the game’s car menu. It waits while the game or the 3D showroom is open, and says so.
Thanks again: you are the reason EvoForge stays free for every driver. Feedback is welcome on the Discord: https://discord.gg/x3w7eCDFkK

This is awesome. So many roads in Scotland I'd love to turn into track.
I've been following for a short time, is this "only" for Evo or does it work with AC too?
Only for evo
Est-ce un rêve? Vais-je me réveiller pour constater que ce n'était pas vrais?
Mon dieu vous êtes des grands malades !! Geniallissime ! Fantastique
OMG, this track builder is insanely great. Thank you. What would really be the icing on the cake is if we could use Google Street View for more accurate building generation, like the beamng mod. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OpAKdlWezOI&t=136s Maybe add an option to edit an existing track to remove some probs that cant be removed by the conversion part?
Amazing! I want to create a hillclimb track based on the Jockpass in the Algau region in Bavaria leading to Oberjock!🙌🏽😍
