Weekly progress report

Hello guys! I had a bit of a rough week, so progress this week was slower than what I planned. On Monday I broke a finger at the gym, lukily it was the tip of the bone so nothing to worry about. Since I didn't know how bad it was at the time I went to the hospital to be sure and spent all the morning and a bit of the afternoon and to make eveything more fun I got some kind of flu in the hospital, hit my stomach very hard so I wasted all Wednesday. So considering that, up to the writing of the report I worked Monday at my 100% and Thursday at my 90%, today and tomorrow I'll try working more since aside from the inmobilized finger I'm ok.

2D this week wasn't that interesting, I got the lineart for the final boss. But it needed quite a lot of corrections and for Esmeralda, I got my first draft of her 3D model but I feel like she looks like an NPC. So, I've been thinking on maybe changing the color of her clothes, maybe a red skirt is easier to see or maybe get her some other details, because the current model isn't screaming hidden character right now.

So this is the manor area, you enter from the arrow, the red areas are mandatory but the white was are optional. On my original plan for the week I wantec to have the small she inside working and the characters being able to enter the building

The plan for the week was working on the manor area and add new items, the idea was to finish all the exterior and next week finish the interior, which is the final area for chapter one. So I could spend a couple weeks polishing and adding side stuff. If it wasn't by the finger/flu stuff I'm sure I'd managed to start the inside of the manor. But, this week got the characte in the map, Sofia can be rescued which has a couple options like skiping the mini boss fight, fight inside or outside the cabin. The thing that I couldn't start but is already planed is entering the manor, I marked on the image below the 3 ways to enter, get over a tree on the side (it was the only way in the original version), ram the fence with a car or force the back door.

So I have to wear this inmobilization on my finger until next Thursday and for the flu, I think that's over. Probably I'll get to work more on the game during the weekend, but since it's easter I have to see my family on sunday.
