• Forbidden Knowledge

The Gift of Creation is a name given by us, Her children, but behind this name lies an instrument of destruction. There are practices of the Gift which are forbidden and regulated by Herquisition. Even knowledge of most of them is classified for fear that someone will find a way to replicate them and, perhaps, achieve far worse outcome.

Although, historical catastrophic Miracles are well-known. It is hard to hide truth about them, but sometimes it's unnecessary, as they're rarely spoken of. One such Miracle is an aftermath of Ekunarian Battle, in the year forty five UAA. Hegemony forces pursued the defeated rebels to the Great Thigh Plateau for two weeks after the battle. Eventually they caught up with and slaughtered the remnants of the rebel group, setting up a celebratory camp that very night. That same night, a colossal and terrifying cloud of fire rose from the site of the festivity, visible from distant cities. Tremors could be felt throughout the Thigh Region. All life around the valley was exterminated, and for decades nothing would live there. When, centuries later, people were able to safely explore that land again, what was discovered was a terrible mark on Her body – a crater equal in size to the largest known cities.

No one knows who caused this, what grade this Engifted was, or whether it was a single Engifted, but everyone concurred it is to be the result of the use of the Gift. And whether Herquisition knows the truth or not, such knowledge is proscribed for exploration.

People can only guess what other similarly baleful Miracles are hidden in the Herquisitorial archives.

• Manipulations of biology

The recreation and transformation of sentient life through the Gift is a forbidden art.

It was a cosmic Miracle, when Allmother gave birth to all life on Meorenell, but no Engifted, even the most Vehement, even if we combine our powers together, will ever be successful to replicate what She accomplished. The very Angels of Grace sacrifice own flesh to let Hallow Trees sprung, so what results can the lesser Engifted hope for?

Our minds will never comprehend Life as She does – any being designed by the Engifted does not exist for long, and any attempt to create one produces only a suffering pulp of flesh. The result, if attempted, is abhorrent to see. Even plants and trees quickly wither and bear the most repugnant fruits, fit only as ingredients for poison. However, some species of flora can be gently manipulated due to their biological simplicity, supporting their growth and harvest.

The interdicts on Engifted Miracles in biology as well include advanced medical applications: a mistake made in attempting to unnaturally heal another person's severe wounds can lead to even more serious ramifications. Only surgical support and alleviation performed by a qualified iatric Engifted is recommended, especially if she is a personal physician who has studied your biology. For Engifted themselves, self-healing is always preferable. After all, it is innate for all Engifted body to live longer and healthier lives. The Gift affects the anatomy of its bearer much differently than it does other organisms, something akin to a careful restructuring of flesh and bones to befit the calls of a mind afflicted with pain, followed by a slow return to their natural state.
